I love free cars.

 

I have been out in my E36 328i and loved it today, but this one doesn't use enough fuel for my taste!

I have literally spent all afternoon changing the coil springs on my mates e46 318.

 

Everything came apart nice and easily. Everything went back together nice and easily. (there was a very dodgy moment with the el cheapo spring compressors I would rather forget..... shudder)

 

Would heartily recommend these as being easy to work on compared to my usual fare (modern French shite, c3 I'm looking at you)
 

this is FAR nicer than his one. Cannot believe this is free! It would be an epic collection for me, involving a ferry from Belfast so I'm probably oot.

 

If you have no joy giving away a completely free car I might be tempted and amazed all at the same time

Crikey, I now don't know what to do.  Draw lots?   Give it to whomever actually needs it most?  I have no clue.

 

There is no particular urgency to have it gone subject only to the issue (of relevance to the taker, not to me) that the MoT runs out at midnight on Tuesday.  I will jump start the car and run it up to temperature in the morning.  

 

The seats are mega piss-stained, by the way.  They are trimmed with really shit quality cloth.  The interior looks and feels cheap as fook - it seems that in that era BMW was making the transition from desirable posh car (albeit destined to become some Barry Boy's ho) to "every cunt has got one" mass market shite.   Oh well, at least it isn't a 320D.  

 

The bodywork is a but scuffed and dinged here and there, BTW.

The fairest way is clearly for people to pick a number from 1-59, BV pays us £1 each for them and the winner gets a £1 and a BMW.

How do the raffles actually work? I missed that meeting.

 

I would of course like to give the car to everyone who has asked for it, but there might be a snag about that.  So, draw lots, or arrange for champions to fight for it.  These champions could perhaps be Lithuanian lingerie models fighting in a vat of guacamole, or something. Or, draw lots.

As I said, I'm happy to come and get it if you give me the nod. Can easily get Mahmoud to book me in for an MOT. He passed my Sterling, if that bloody thing can pass, I'm sure the BMW will have no trouble.

 

All I'll need to do is transfer insurance onto it and buy tax.
