Cavcraft 2016. Do NOT adjust your set, normal service has resumed.

What year is it chief and do you want an estimate of it's actual value, or the hopelessly low/derisory/insulting offer I'd make for it?

I'll know more tomorrow morning but the basics are I think it's a Speedfight 3 50cc. First MOT is due in April I think, and it's not as nice as it will look in the pictures. The steering doesn't feel too clever to me, the last owner reckons he over tightened the head stock bearings.

Chuffing hell, I finally buy something to get me into town that I can chuck in a corner and Cavcraft shows me a Puggler Speedfight.

Your timing is as ever bloody impeccable.

Still, I bet you want more than £250 for that so Im still happy.

Not much more to be honest, plus I'd probably swap it for some sort of hopeless car or other.

I love how all mid-90's Vauxhalls went pink after about 6 months.

yes - 'they all do that, sir'  - but actually, the one I had wasn't too bad!

It's a 2000/X and actual value, I wouldn't want to encumber you with such misery. I have my figure in mind, but it's mine so I'm biased!

Depends on the miles and the state of the dent I suppose. I reckon they're just coming out of their popular (yes, really) stage now and are about to enter the unloved period most cars go through. I'll stick my neck out and say £350, maybe £400 if it's half decent. The fact it's a 1.6 petrol, the dent and the miles will deter those morons who read an article in the Daily Mirror in 1982 about clocked cars and who've applied to be on Bargain Hunt.

Where are we up to?  Corsa went the other day.

Berlingo went yesterday at 10.55pm. At 08.15 today, I got a call from the coppers saying they'd pulled three lads in it who were 'in a bit of trouble'

Today:

Foot off the clutch, not room for much. Can any fellow shitehawk so recognise the car? It's not mine by the way...

Did someone mention Corsas?

I should have picked another one up too, but I reckon some twerp gazumped me on the £20 asking price.

Agree with MR2. Obvious 'yota steering wheel with all the spokes at the bottom.

It's Dave_Station's MR2 Mk1 and what is now my Corsa.

Currently working on some shite you're bound to know much more about than I do - a 1995 Corsa B 1.4 automatic! Planning on getting it sorted so my other half can learn to drive in it then I'm sure it'll become available to a shiter when she's moaning about wanting something newer!

Do you know if there's a fill plug for the gearbox somewhere or is it just filled via the dipstick tube? I've found the drain plug...

How are you finding the Viva Billy? I'm starting to see them on the roads a bit now, there's one often parked up in my parents' street.

I do really like it. The seats are quite firm, especially in the lower back but I have back problems anyhow. They're well spec'd to be fair, even the mingebag model (like mine) has cruise control, a thing that bongs if you wander over the white lines, speed limiter etc.

The fuel economy (according to the digital read out) isn't quite what they claim (62.8!) as I'm getting 41-ish on average but I've not really done any long journeys in it yet. It's bloody pokey for a 1.0 and whilst not in the lawn mower levels of the Corsa B/C 1.0, it is a bit harsh sounding, especially if you welly it.

I have to be honest, I have no idea. Have you tried https://www.corsa-b.uk/forum/ ? I'm not on there, but probably need to be. Would imagine they can help you hopefully.

Meanwhile, 2K16 YO! continues apace.  I've just agreed to buy another shit car, collection not for a week or so though yet.

Hands up who doesn't want an update? Ok, roundly ignored that so here's today in pictures:

As dashboards go, this is pretty shit...

Award yourself three electronic spies of your arse because your life is shit if you knew it belonged to this little beauty*

Is one motor enough I didn't hear anyone ask? The answer to that is clearly a big fat no, so have a last minute impulse buy from a trader friend...

It's an HDi diesel, 110BHP I think. Clearly 109.5 of them are hidden in the spare wheel well or something.
