So what actually happened?

It looks like the Rover is wanting sex with the Estima. Imagine the offspring?

Flippin Eck!

Thats not the Autoshite bike 420 is it??

I'm guessing it went something like...

"Woah, ooh, ooh, what the.... AHHHH FUCK IT!!!!!...*CRUMP!* Shit shit shit!"

Am I right?

Just got home. Thankfully the Estima seems fairly undamaged. The Rover runs, just a bit bent really.

The Rover was still attached via A-Frame in that pic. Basic story from Joe is it got a bit hairy on a bend, he tried to overcome it but the whole lot got pushed on the verge. Cue me getting a phone call to say he's stacked it and me flying down the A19 at a rate of knots, seemingly picking up a speeding ticket in the process!

Plod were just beat officers so didn't show any interest in the A-Frame.

I just happened to have left a slightly less buckled red bonnet at Joe's.  Impressed the damage wasn't more serious than that, looks like both could well survive.

Getting it sorted is a distinct possibility!

If I can help in any way with that, feel free to drop me a line and I'll see if I can sort you out.  We're practically neighbours, after all.

You boys sure know how to crash with class:)

both looks suitable for sorting- a bonus on top of the fact that all folks are ok!

Whoa! Glad to hear no one was hurt. Looks scary.

No damage to the Massive Love Egg too - it lives a Charmed life perhaps?

Hiya!

I'm home after a lot of help from John and wor Dan (who lives near Ripon, where this happened).

Nobody hurt, nobody (else's) property damaged, so the rozzers weren't bothered. Extracation by tractor, and the Pleasure Wagon drove just fine all the way home, apart from losing tail lights (fused by the chomped-up trailer-board?).

Even the radiator (which was looking on its last legs anyway), after gobbling up a big mouthful of verge held solid, and wet only on the inside. Which is nice. And absolutely astounding.

The Rover we drove back to Dan's farm, but sadly, the whole thing feels bent. End of the road for that one, methinks. Sad face. More tomorrow.

Skid-marks aplenty.

Big thanks to everyone who came to offer assistance, and you who expressed concern from afar. It was not a good day, but a lucky escape all things considered.

[vulture]if the Rover is dead, can I rob a couple of bits?[/vulture]

Obviously I still hope Rover is repairable.

Again glad to hear all are ok. From that angle it looks like the Love Egg is taking a piss all over Rover.

Unusually helpful of Plod not to be interested. Bonus.

Sounds like it was all a bit scary!! Glad you're ok!!

Glad all is ok here. Looks like it could have ended a lot worse.

If Rover is dead the bonnet should be hung on a wall at Autoshite HQ.

Bloody hell Joe, I bet you laid an egg or two when the Pleasure Wagon got its hind leg over the Rover...!

Good to hear that everyone is OK. It might be worth having a look at the Rover's steering arms before chucking it in the bin, they might just have been pulled out of shape by the A frame.

 Hope your ok, that looks like a bad one way up the banking.

Those later pictures are scary stuff, could have been so much worse.

Lucky escape there guys , esp with the police .

Hope its not a rude question Joe but how old are you ?

There's so many of these things flying around on here just now (some literally) it's hard to keep up.

Yep :(

Hope it's fixable, doesn't look bad from the photos, hopefully just steering/suspension bits.  I'd like to offer any bits/help I could but being several hundred miles away with no spare parts that would be quite a useless offer!  Main thing is no-one was hurt, cars etc. can be repaired/replaced.

Yep, drove nice too when I ragged it (with Joe's active encouragement) on the SF test track.
