I think the beginning of the thread title is rather promising...

Only downhill from there mate :D

Looks horrible - well done!

Makes me feel like a bourgeois sophisticate as I'm searching for a £300 motor.

CAVCRAFT 2.0

That's terrible, and therefore brilliant.

The radios for these show up at car boot sales fairly often for some reason.

Insecure? Fussy fecker!

Jesus wept, that's so awful it's just trouser shittingly class, I dream of finding stuff like this for sale. Jealousy factor 109.2.

I used to find it mildly amusing following these when they were new ( therefore still shiny) that your reflection was upside down. I am easily pleased.

Everything else, apart from battery clamp , is shit- Good work.

and white in colour.

Seriously ace buy for a ton.

Posted

rev counter works, speedometer nil,£10 worth of finest shell in it,seat airbag light on,usual fiat factory shite electrics, more to follow,

Posted

I feel sorry for it and would immediately spend £££££ getting it back to near factory spec.

Before bridging it when the coil pack fails and fries the ECU

Seriously though a meal for four can easily cost that kind of money and the quality of that Fiat will be remembered long after the Nachos have been forgotten. And that makes this MEGAVALU.

Verdict : Win

It's easily worth two ponies to drive something with MG SV headlamps....

Two ponies is £50

This is four ponies or a fifth of a monkey. Or a ton if you want the simple answer!

Damn, I thought I was doing well. Our Punto was purchased a few weeks back, but was 50 quid more. It is an ELX though, and has red seats! Genuine 42k as well. Pics will follow when I can be arsed going outside.

The mk2 Punto is one of the worst cars, i've ever been in. £100 is overpriced.

There was a modified speed sensor (makes the speedo work properly)  for those cars. The modded part has a green mark on the connector. Yours might not have been done.

Left the factory like that - proper Turin workmanship that is

The use of Iveco wiring to tie the battery in is a master class.

Me and most of my mates had these as first cars so I have a bit of a soft spot, been up and down the country in 'em. Still think of them as being brand spanking new. I've never seen one with cataracts before.

They're complete headgasket blowing, comedy electric'd shite though, well bought!

I'm going to say i've got a soft spot for these...the first chod i've ever driven with a remotely "modern" feel to them, had one as a courtesy car last year and loved it (apart from no heater in November), don't know whether to tip my hat to you Sir or feel jealous as i am looking for barrel scraping motoring for under £200 at the moment as i'm currently working for the Civil Service as a Jobseeker Allowancer. (Hours are great, pay is crap etc...)
