Probably the best car in the known universe. SOLDED.

Well after an unexpected turn of events this is for sale. I bought it because it's mintola in every dept.

I have no use for it, I have done 150 miles in it it three months. My brother came back from living in egypt and He was going to have it, however there new place in London is a shared house, they have no parking and they live 300 yards from where they work. So they can't justify having it.

So its up for sale. Going to put it up on ebay with a realistic price, I tried before but I didn't want to sell it so put the price mega high, still got a few bites but wasn't going to take any offers. However, now I have too many cars, and from next week a new job means I get a works van, So having four cars just to mess about with is too much.

MOT feb 2016

Get you home tax.

1 owner from new.

Its mint, had the arches done at honda. Not a speck of rust anywhere.

Two service books.

4x michelins.

EXi 1.6 16v 121 bhp 4 speed auto.

electric sunroof, windows, mirrors, remote central locking.

Engine is whisper quiet.

Recent full exhaust at honda.

I changed the oil and filter when I got it.

No evidence of a cambelt change. If it was a keeper I would do this and flush the autobox through, going into third the revs rise say 200/300rpm, however when I got it hadn't been used for 6 months or so, and when it's used a bit this seems to go away.

I am having trouble replying to pm's, cheers tappacrap anyhow.

It's in derby and I can collect anyone from the station.

GLWTS - it's a bloody nice car that. As I too have a tidy Honda for sale, I think you've priced it pretty fairly - our Y plate Civic is £895 on eBay and we've had four enquiries in as many days.

It's mostly Rover but completely Honda!

If anyone wants to effect a  collection I travel to Derby on a Monday Morning From Miseryside, down M57, M6, A500, and A50, and would happily offer a lift to anyone stupid enough to get up at stupid O Clock.

I remember a discussion at Lucas Car brakes about some VERY detail design differences in the calipers. The pistons are "probably" interchangeable, but seals and bolts and bleed nipples Probably not.

The whole caliper 'might' be interchangeable but only in pairs.

It does seem VERY well specced next to 216's of the same age.

I have a 216 auto in the top field, breaking for parts if it ever needs anything.

Not that it will. Honda innit.

I wish I could have a fourth car, this is just perfect.

There'd be nothing left for you to do, it looks pre-Vulgaloured.

Nice looking car that. I'm no expert but it appears to be priced fairly with a good shiter discount. I wouldn't have thought you'll have it hanging around long.

Edit -apparently white cars are out.

This is indeed an absolute stunner and well worth the money but is out of my price range.

However, something automatic and a bit different should be gracing PBKland sometime over the next few weeks.

I could tell you more but then I'd have to kill me.

The more I look at it the more I think concours.

I bet the air con was a pretty expensive option at the time

Posted

Yeah shame it don't work.

Just needs a re-gas***

Also got a Honda alarm for added heartache when it decides to fail like all 90's alarms.

Working fine at the mo like.

A black Concerto was the car I drove both of my kids home from the maternity unit in (18 months apart). Air con would have been handy as both front windows were sealed shut for some reason. Mind you it was a Glasgow car. Someone could have been 'at 'em. It also had an unconventional anti-theft switch.

This one looks too good to be true for £500.  I'm not that surprised it is in such good nick. They seemed to be the favourite car of fusspot-retired-Colonel-types in the nineties. GLWTS.

£320 and a pipe of salted Pringles?

This has just sailed off into the wind.
