The first time I did it (in the Samara), I camped at a nice little site just beyond Chumley over the border in north Shropshire. Each year since I've done there and back in a day from home, but I'm up for stopping the night before if there'll be a few of us doing it. Any campsite accommodating Mat_the_Cat is gonna be megalolz.
