Does anyone remember when TG used to bring out an eclectic mix of music on the cassettes during the mid 1990's? Happy memories listening to these in me dads Astra mk2!

I have a double cassette - has genesis, crowded house etc.

I also have a double cd with meat loaf and others.

They drag it out every year but nail a different badge on it.

It was Eddie Stobart last year.....

The "Drive Time" series of albums was pretty good, too :)

I had this. Free on the front of TG magazine.

About 10 2 minute clips of famous comedy shows.

A bit shit really!

I have this one (amongst others) and it's one of my favourite compilation albums. Partly as the songs are good, partly as it reminds me vividly of a particular time of my life, and partly because it was given to me by a very old and good friend :-)

"Big Log" by Robert Plant. I love that track!

I've got that somewhere

As with all my music though I could probably have cobbled it together with tracks I already have from other compilation albums.

I'm just glad I didn't pay for..... Er wait

I've got a few of their albums, the first one pictured above and a more recent one that features some of the original ones and some more modern crap which doesn't belong on the same CD.

The original one is good though. They picked well :)

I have one Top Gear and all the drive time albums, all on cassette however apart from one on CD. They used to be great driving down the motorway to see my sister at Uni in my old Ford Orion diesel!

Not that I can play any in my cars at the moment as only one has ICE and thats a push button radio (which doesn't work)!

I bought a copy around 1994 and I loved it, I still listen to it sometimes even now.
