I can't find that but it is 200cc weights 185kg and tows 300kg. The carrying box is 900mm x 1000mm.

That seems pretty respectable, I guess it'll tow your roller, and probably any other stuff you might need to drag around, anyhoo, there's something to be said for increasing the size of a fleet of tat just to do 'jobs' around a smallholding.

I invented one of those when I was still at school (very early 1970's)  ...well so I thought . .

^ Using two cones, both with high-friction surfaces ; one as the gearbox input shaft, the other as output.   A tertiary shaft carries an idle wheel, also with a high friction surface (like a tyre) to bear against both cones.  This wheel might be controlled to move up and down the shaft, and in doing so transfer the drive at different ratios.   Very simple and lightweight with few moving parts, probably running dry with sealed bearings ..and as the title says : continuously variable.   ie., absolutely no steps between bottom and top gears.  My best friend at the time laughed and told me DAF had already done it, so I realised I must be a right twit and so didn't bother inventing much more.  And of those I never had the self-esteem to pursue them commercially or for good cause,  nor even to tell anyone else. ( I still use the hot air bed warmer though ..each winter)  .

For those attending Prep day this weekend a heads up that it is the GP at Silverstone. We are far enough away not to be directly effected but remember to plan your route to us avoiding Silverstone and the A43 between Brackley and Towcester.

That’s a good CPT challenge, I reckon BMW M3 4dr saloon of whatever the generation that’s just been replaced is (F90?).

I’ll bring up the toolkits, crimp set and soldering iron. Undecided on what car yet. I’m getting the Mercedes’s aircon fixed tomorrow so may give it a run up. X1/9 exhaust needs replacing really.

What time is the field open? I need to do my weekly shop first, but can buy nibbles for all. Ac not fixed today. His van wouldn’t start ( Mercedes sprinter). What does the weather forecast look like? I’m undecided on car transport.

Probably mid-morning, but PM Six-cylinder for exact timings. Weather will be dry, with sun and a bit of cloud, high of 21C on Saturday and around 20C on Sunday. Not too hot, but pleasant.
