Any seller using the term 'barn find' when it clearly isn't, should be shot in the cock with a 12 bore shotgun, and their piece of shit they are hawking sent to the fragger, harsh but a fair punishment I feel

Four speed nightmare with the rubbish knock kneed suspension these things had. Utter crap, even new.

Did Ford actually make a decent car in the 80's FWD Escort by the time production stopped?

Seeing this reminds me of the totally shagged 90 front propshaft that someone pulled out of a box of old tat left over after a resto that I’d taken to the Old Sodbury Sortout some years ago and actually wanted to buy! Got a fiver for it if I recall...

Sadly it's going to happen, I'm afraid. This is exactly the quality level of the majority of investment classics being imported,

instead of being launched as far into the Aegean as possible and the video posted on YouTube. It's a barn find, you know.

The plate 360TOO will end up on some appalling Ferrari.

I can picture it now, driven by some bald 53 year old car dealer in super dry and 3/4 shorts, blaring up and down Bracknell high street.

Good luck getting the Zephyr MoT'd to transfer the plate - or does that all go out of the window with the new MoT law?

^^^^^^ fuck me that's hideous!!

I'm assuming that when he says 'factory built', he means that a group of enthusiastic amateurs rented an old factory, then chopped up a caravan and a van, in order to end up with this.

Because there's no way an actual motorhome production factory would own up to that... Is there?

Jesus, I've just looked at the pictures in more detail, I'm beginning to wish I hadn't. It is just a caravan nailed onto the back of a minibus isn't it, it's fucking hideous.

Bent MOT and PORN it for a year or two. Can't see the plate being worth the bother....?

Those Zephyrs were sold in large numbers to the military. I remember seeing loads for sale in a big batch at the Cow Roast breakers yard on the A41 in the 1960's. Given its base spec looks and colour it might be one of those.
