Shit loads of old MOTs and the odd receipt for random things. Keep an eye on them there booklets though, they might accidentally fall into my other 306 by mistake.

Looks like you have taken cartland off the book writing and moved her into Peugeot document writing

always think  that the later 306 with the right bits was peugeots best looking creation for a long time, much better than their new stuff, love the interior as well.

Posted

The interior looks pretty gopping in the pictures, but in real life it looks just slightly less so.

Just a thought, Billy.... given the title of this thread, what happens tonight?  Will you re-title, or start a new one with a summary of your current stock?

It's not all high tech here you know, I'm off on another mission as I type this, piss wet through on the Millennium Path..

And home again, probably about 30 minutes all in with a nice, but wet, walk. This is from the same vendor as that lovely red Astra Mk3 I had last year. Within ten minutes of me seeing the advert it was mine and it was incredibly, stupidly cheap...

It's only a flipping 2.2 (pez) SRi, innit. Went really nicely on the 1.2 miles trip home. Couple of weeks MOT but I think it's worth lobbing it in for another one.

Lush seats in them 150's

Also them drivers side bolsters have always ripped in a nice 306.

Two nice motors. New year, new you!

Posted

What's wrong with it?

There's always something wrong with them.

Posted

Oil leak (but that was advisory on last MOT) and he thinks it wants a drop link or something. previous advisory for slightly pitted discs and something else I think. The seats would go nice in my 306 or Berlingo if it comes to it.

Posted

Never thought I'd give a Vectra a second glance, but I do the SRi especially the estate version. Nice colour too.

Posted

My dad had one of these in estate flava as company car.

Really rather swift if a bit juicy.

10 years ago i had a petrol blue y reg 2.2 SRI. It went like shit off a shovel.

How much is this one Billy?

Posted

I had the two litre 140bhp version a while back, in saloon format. Was actually quite OK. It spat the exhaust manifold stud as all the 2.0s do, but my garage got it out in situ and sorted it.

I think they've aged really well

Hard to say at the minute, obviously isn't going to be worth a fortune with short MOT, but with one a reasonable bit more.

I'm going to try (elsewhere) for £200, obvs there'll be a good discount on that for shiters.

Thats cracking, satin red too. I miss my old 2.0 pez a lot, went flipping great. I had to do the driplinks on mine when I got it, 15 quid a pair and buzzed the old ones off with a grinder. Just as well you live too far away from me. Also, I need to keep my 2 ton to get the rear axle done on thw Corsa in 2 weeks.

Thanks for saying the exact colour name, was racking my brain trying to think what it was and kept coming back to "Rubens red". Suits the SRi really well, don't see many that colour.

I almost bought an 02 plate 1.8 SRi. SRi 130? In that dark green they came in for £2995 from the local Renner dealer in 2008, decided against it because it was a 5 door hatch and I wanted the 4 door saloon, still regret not buying it now because it was MINT.

Glad this isnt for sale close to me either or I'd have your hand off at 200 sovs!!

Posted

Only know that as my Corsa is the same colour. 120= old x18xe1 or diesel 130=newer z18xe 140=old X20xev 2.0 pez, 150=newer z22se 2.2 V6=that.

Under rated cars IMO, although I have an irrational dislike of the hatchbacks and much prefer the saloon.

If you ever find a V6 SRi saloon in metallic green -Rio Verde I think? I would be interested. I had one years back and would love another.

Just been offered a very tempting swap (elsewhere) for this but he only has the green slip for his car and I've been bitten by that recently.
