I saw an MG6 without advertising vinyls on the Humber Bridge yesterday.

.... the owner was just sort of sitting on the fence, dangling his legs over the side with a pained expression and a CAP valuation printout in his hand?

Was it about to throw itself off?

^ I see them round here quite a bit, but that's because the local polis bought them in bulk.

Most W210s have evaporated, probably quite literally.

Citroen C5s are getting thin on the ground.

Late vectra B seems to have gone.

I cannot recall when I last saw a first gen one N to S reg.

I saw three in Littlehampton on Monday. Do I win a prize?

Toyota Corollas, especially the pre- Auris ones. Either I'm missing them, or they're all blending into the rain.

That being said I did see 2 of the Saloon variants within an hour back in the summer, though slightly cheating as 1 of them was Irish, and I gather they like their saloons still over there. Not seen another on UK soil since.

Peugeot 406 and 407,Subaru impreza with the bug eye's.Fiat Marea,Fiat Stilo ant Fiat idea have all gone.

There's a joke about its value plummeting in there somewhere!

Saab 95 with Dame Edna glasses. Probably because they only sold 6.

Big Volvo S80's, made S reg onwards. Nearly all were badged 2.4 petrol.

Nearly always with those odd crisscross alloys and that paintwork which wasn't any colour...Just S80 colour.

Vectra B's seem to have disappeared as quickly as Mk3 Cavaliers did about 10 years ago

Mk1 Clio

Citroen Xantia

BMW compact (or whatever those ugly-ass 3-series hatches were called)

K11/K12 Micras are thinning out noticeably.  And I haven't spotted a Primera IN EVAH.

As a sort of opposite to this, Rovers seem to be surprisingly resistant, plenty of 25s and 75s still about, even some 45's. Mind you Hereford/Gloucestershire is giffer central.

As for disappearing, Renault Laguna IIs and Meganes including the big arse one. I haven't seen a pre 2001 Merc C class for a long time either.

Alfa Spider. I followed a Y plate the other day, as an ex owner I realized I hadn't seen one in ages. Made until about 2004.

Mitsubishi 'Lack of' Carismas seem to have vanished too

That many?

Smart four doors too, vanished into oblivion

Electrics, and injection woes.  My mate bridged his diesel Lag2 estate before its sixth birthday, at which it would have been the candle, so fecked off was he with its almost total lack of reliability.

They seem to be breeding here.

Have all the blobby looking Hyundai Accidents gone? Haven't seen one in a while.

I had one,a W reg 2.4 petrol, naturally, and about 8 years ago it was bought by a Lithuanian guy. His intention was to drive home for Christmas ,sell it there, he reckoned he could double his money and that any big saloon was in demand.

Preserved with the spit of Triplexx lickers from the AROnline facebook group probably.

Lots of 75s still running around in Cumbernauld area. Late Escorts have vanished recently and early Focii are getting rarer too.

Since moving to Wolverhampton I've been spotting a lot of stuff like what's been mentioned, it's all here!

I see two Mk3 Astras and a three door Mk6 Escort LX every day...

Three people in my halls own blue Pugs you don't really see any more - a 206, 306 (diesel!) and 307.

I set the airbag light off in the 206 because I whacked it with the seat getting out of the back...

Late W202s and even W203s, don't know the last time I saw one that wasn't a coupé.

And, as a matter of fact, most Mercs pre-2007 or so - A/C/E/S/ML class...

Kia Carens/Sedona/early Sportage?

Older Ford Rangers (and Mavericks)?

Mk6 Fiestas (despite my aunt having one).

Mk3 and 3F Polos.

Hyundai Amicas used to be common-ish didn't they?

And its counterpart the Matiz...

Agree that Rovers are surviving oddly well!

206's still around in numbers here but 306's are getting real rare, used to be a common sight. 406's diminishing fast too.

Funnily enough, I did indeed see one on the 11th. Looked like an SR too. Was in battleship grey, so yes, it probably had blended into the dankness of an autumn evening.
