This popped up on Flickr with no description. Google results seem to say Citroen 350

For reasons too French to explain, these are universally known as the Citroën Belphégor, after this chap. A striking resemblance, no?

Styled by Bertoni, they are the second coolest 1960s French medium-sized commercial vehicle and I'd very much like to have one

These things are proper shite - bodywork deliberately made simple without compound curves  to be cheap to make, they used Plymouth mechanicals bought from scrappies.

Had a tube above the right hand rear light for putting lengths of copper pipe etc in !

Google lens says it is a Hurtan Grand Albaycin. Built in Spain, which makes sense as all the pictures on Google are in Spain, but based on an MX5.

Some look a bit tacky.

And some are more tacky than others.

Any ideas? Me neither. Apparently it's a Corvette! A lovely mix of horrible supercar styling and American engineering & quality. Deeply embarrassing stuff all round.

We have a customers Zeeee06 505 in at the moment, has a lot of trick bits and tuning. Boss took it for a test drive yesterday,  left the keyless fob behind. Luckily he didn't switch it off while he was out but we did laugh and leave him locked in when he came back.

Turkish, apparently - and they started doing dizzle ones in 2013, according to Wiki. Electric ones are called e-JEST, as in e-jest went past the stop without stopping for passengers.

When they break down they are known as a die-gest.

Yup. An if you then use a diagnostic tool it's called a Reader-die-jest.

But if it's electric how can it be a 'turbo'-charged vehicle?

Probably has the same type of turbo that a Porsche Taycan Turbo has.

The future is bright you've gotta wear shades

What would these have been used for? Have never seen these before. I'd be wary of driving over speed-bumps in the road. Really interesting though.

Built by Westfalia with chassis strengthening as well as body mods. Not quite sure why, but it suited Chevrolet to follow their lead
