It's bad when you compare Bangle era designs to the current crop and decide the former were easier on the eye...

I reckon the car and dog have similar faces:

I was talking of the Golf R convertible, he never knew they existed until he saw an article on PH's today. I had a soft spot for them, until I found out they were FWD and DSG box only...the idea of a AWD manual Golf convertible tickled me for the lols!

Anyways, he hit me back with a car I never knew...the Audi S3 convertible!

Now, these are AWD, but doesn't tickle me in the same was as the idea of a Golf R convertible did, or even the B7 RS4 Convertible. Not sure why. Still love that it's a thing(or was?).
Extra points for anyone that bought it in Yellow!

More like the Camille GTi version. With slide-back sunroof head and realistic toes.
But makes as much sense as Able.

So that's where GTM got their inspiration for their Coupe.

1967 Autobleu Peugeot 204 GT Frua Coupé:

Reversing looks pretty hit-and-miss.

I've always liked that 204, mainly because it's quite a bit worse looking than a normal 204 coupé and it looks like it's been nailed together with bits of MDF.

I love finding Genuine Factory registered AC Cobra's especially in  blue

because one of these is an AC Cobra the other one is an AC Acedes invalid tricycle, can you tell which is which without googling/looking it up? :)

The Peugeot pickup.  Spotted yesterday in Angola, apparently Chinese based.  Proper 4X4 with low range transfer box etc.

Another old Pug design still being produced, The Peugeot 405. Now named Khazar 406.

It still has Peugeot badges. Front and rear lights, together with the dash, are different to the 405. Looks like the ride height is elevated.

Are you in Angola now? I used to go regularly but not been for a couple of years. I have spotted a very few Chinese made vw santanas kicking about but not much else of note.

Yes I am,  loads of really interesting stuff knocking around on the streets still, especially if you have an interest in commercials.

Difficult one with E and F plates, maybe a slightly higher chance of the E plate on a Cobra but I see a lot on F plates! Also, PPD 567E is on the front cover of Classic And Sportscar this month and so am I! 😎

I am just going to show my age again as I remember this when there was talk of ending the MG brand. I had a MG Maestro at the time and the two MG clubs were positive about the news that perhaps AM would continue making a MG B.

Over the years that car has changed hands a number of times. I did not know it was now in Germany.

Some aspects of this car are not so clean as it should have been, the windscreen, hood and rear lights. Awful. still at least it has the period factory built tied  line.
