Oof! Bugatti Royale, which is the dictionary definition of fucking massive. 12.7 litre straight eight too.

I think Minilites or one of their many imitators can work on pretty much anything, perhaps it's the designed for purpose image or motorsport heritage.

Not to sure about the 2CV mind, although it looks better than I'd have thought it would on non-standard wheels.

Still loving these.

Quite simply the only possible winner. These are the FITTEST wheels ever made and look good on anything

...and here's your proof, as only the original wheels could look right on this, but Momo Arrows still suit it...

Aargh, five spokes with four studs, that is so wrong it makes my symmetry detector flip!

I'll pretend I didn't read that. Best wheels, best car.

No, he's right. Five-spokes need five studs, then's the rules.

Like these Vectra B SRi five-spoke alloys, which are THE BEST wheels for a V6 Calibra (NB bonus Maserati shot, which also looks good on its StilAuto alloys):

It is a great loss to automotive kind that decent hub caps are a thing of the past - can you even buy a new car without alloys these days?

Anyway I has reading through this thread a moment ago http://autoshite.com/topic/17066-bakery-products-delivery-solution-noe-pynappelz-need-apply/ without being aware of the existence of this thread and was much cheered to see these fine examples:

Not autoshite so not worth a photo but my heap of a Yaris still has it's original hub caps (on 13" wheels) 15 years and 140k miles later which pleases me.

Always liked these hubcaps, think they suited the facelift car very well, complimenting the fake wood and stick on grill - one of the few 'fake alloys' that don't look stupid:

Having said that there's something about these ones on a pre-facelift that's just right too:

Always thought these looked smart:

And these ones, too, in that retro-futuristic way:

And then you had these ones but you didn't see these ones as often I seem to recall:

God bless 'em if AR did one thing right it was wheels.

One of the cheapest and simple wheel upgrades ever must be the Ford 5 1/2 J.

But with some Anglia van bumpers and 1/2 inch out of the springs, pretty effective.

Yes, but only just.

I have here an Astra brochure. The Astra is an everyday, run of the mill, average car yes?

There is one model on placca trims, every other model has 16" alloys minimum.

I've never liked these on slotmags for some reason, much prefer these rims:

Focus is the same. So that covers about 50% of the new cars sold in the uk.

Thought they were bare steel with a small centre s/s cap? Those look quite smart, are they plag or steel?

Not my car but the same wheels . Saabs are the only cars to pull off 3 spokes in my opinion . These hammerhead ones are my fav on the 9-5

That was S1,  when the s1.5 got the wider track with flared arches and the douvrin engine those plastic trims came in. You can tell it's the low spec model as it has plastic window frames, and no stainless sill covers.

I think these always looked cleaner on steelies that wires

They're not steel wheels, they are Dunlop light alloy racing wheels. You occasionally see them on E-Types too. They're beautiful looking wheels on anything!
