2002 Audi A8L 4.2 - £750 MEGABARG!

Insurance shouldn't be too bad if you're over 30 with a cleanish licence. I'll check what it's costing tomorrow.

This has to be worth £750 clams just to say you've had one? There is nothing else like it on a clear late-night motorway blast. Supercar performace with limousone comfort. Good for very tall families, too

Gnnnnnnn.

Dave, very likely this can be in Norfolk/Suffolk over the coming weeks if that helps twist your arm...

I have just got of the phone with my classic multicar broker (Richardsen Hosken, the pro-rata gods) and they will let me pop this straight on with the rest of my shite as I've never made a claim in 11 years with them.  Which is nice.

However - the excess flies right up to £250 on this blighter though. The nice lady also said on this one it would be SD&P only without any cover commuting - so they've cottoned-on to what I got up to on my vegoil XM, tsk.

But looking at it again, they always pro-rata refund me properly every time I move something on (without any fees) so I'm looking at cover coming in at 24 of the Queen's quids per month.  So if I blat in it for 4 months it's cost me notalotmore than my X1/9 over the same period.

Hmmmm.....

The excess isn't going to make any odds, unless you manage to crash it, or something. Get it bought!

Just gonna bump this mutha again. Can't believe this is still here at this sort of money!

As an incentive, if you come down to pick it up I'll pick you up from the station in the Panhard (or whatever is working that day)

My thoughts exactly until someone crashed into me...

I don't suppose anyone wants a £300 Volvo do they?

Posted

I am in lol tickets would have to be like £15/£16 but literally would be like winning the lottery.

Posted

I'd be in on a £15 raffle. If you don't sell enough you could always cancel and refund those who did chip in!

I need to stop coming back to this thread. I'd even bump my new E38 7 series on to make room for this.

I must resist.

Bump! Still here. No raffles, please. Somebody must want this bloody thing?

Have you tried RR, Barrett? I'd have thought it would go down a treat on there or Piston Heads.

Apologies if it's already on there.

Fuck I have just stumbled on this thread - if I drink any more beer tonight I may be making an offer....

Too new for RR innit? Or do they allow modern cars on there now too? If so, will chuck it on at some point.

Seacow, feel free to get drunk and take a punt, but the price as it stands is pretty firm. How cheap does this much car need to be before someone buys it? It cost £2000 exactly one year ago...

Posted

Oh its not the price its the lack of space on drive, the fact I don't need a 5th car and the marital discord - just off to the bar.....

Posted

Nobody NEEDS five cars. Six or seven is a much more sensible number anyway...

Does seem mega cheap, must admiit I'm glad its not me trying to sell it like

Posted

I'm amazed you haven't sold this.

Aye, it's tempting until you think that it will be more expensive to run than a cigar addiction or a trophy wife.
