This car haz more performance than I have the skillz to use.

Though the same could be said of a 1.3 cavalier, a racing god I am not.....

Does an excellent job of making me look like I'm having a mid life crisis 10 years too early (I hope.......)

I nearly forgot (probably because it's still in bits)...I've also got an MX5 which whilst not terribly fast, is certainly pretty capable on a track.

I've had my mid-life crisis.

Motorbike - check

Subaru Impreza - check

Young girlfriend - check

Have now got rid of all three and settled to a life of Werthers and cardigans.  See signature for current drivers.

mines not exactly quick but surprises people its a range rover classic in green so everybody assumes its a diesel but its a 3.9 v8 and it can go anywhere lol

This can go quite fast. Only if I absolutely cane my daily E350CDi can I keep up with it when joining an empty dual carriageway

I've got an E36 325iS that is not a performace car really but i find it nice to drive.

Just hired a new Chrysler 300C with the Hemi V8 today which feels like a nice old barge until you put your foot down when it seems to defy the laws of physics.   Probably not that quick but it is -8 degrees outside and I'm not exactly a great driver.

Exclusive was a trim level, but I thought it started on later cars, you'll still have a colour.

Mine is slightly different to that, I am popping outside soon to take a snap, but that interior is lovely btw Tayne.

Rather sadly, the fastest thing I have on the road at the moment (although hopefully that will change this year) is this:

It's 25 bhp and 50 lb/ft up on standard, whilst still light by modern standards so is on a level with most current turbo diesels. Hardly what I'd class as a performance car though!

Hi Tayne - Here is my rather dirty 330ci Sport, its a 2002/51 plate. It flies as you well know but is wasted around town especially with the stiffer sports suspension

Yes Cubic trim.

To the naked eye the leather on mine is yellower than the cream leather. I spent 5 weeks looking for one of these cars and this was the only one I saw with the interior like this, although there was one for sale locally recently with the same interior, the only other one Ive seen. but the previous owner said it was special order???

Not sure what the VIN online decoder is!? Does yours ever tramline?

I'd love to see a pic of your MV, the 350 S is one of my favourites, up there with a Guzzi V7 Sport in my dream bike garage.

My dad owns this:

dscn1609.jpg

A 1987 Toyota Supra 3.0i Turbo. Nice sounding straight-6, 235hp, 5-speed-manual. It´s not quick, because it´s very heavy (~ 1600kg) but it´s fast and makes a lovely noise.

It´s all original, completely stock and has only 64.000km on the clock. The best MkIII surviving in Austria, a Supra-guru told us a few years ago.

It´s nice to drive sometimes, but I would not want to own it.

That's not at all heavy by today's standards.

WOOD.

Porsche 944 S2 here. But not a mint one, so in my mind it qualifies for shite status. Also had various old Saabs-9000 and 9-5 Aeros. All under a grand and cracking cars.

does my daily driver count? street sleeper with around 180 horses

its not to everyones taste but........ i like it

Bloody hell, that's smart. Have you done a thread about it and if not, why not?

Thanks Tayne im going to have a look at that this evening, will let you know.

Control arm bushes done recently which improved it, few people have said these cars are notorious for tramlining but changing the air pressure in front tyres can also help which I've not tried as yet..  Has some fairly stiff Bridgestone Potenza's on the front.

Yes like a kinda raised pattern ( tiny little squares) on the leather on the doors and its also on the bum part of the seats but it cant really be seen easy from the interior pic I posted.

My old 850 T5 that I had chipped would qualify, but that's long gone, as is the 560sec that looked appaling but still had a good proportion of its 300bhp intact. Pillarless coupe body, and a lusty v8, probaby the closest ill ever come to owning a muscle car.

Present fleet - the 504 has a quoted top speed of 80 mph, leaving my '64 S type which has a high compression E type lump. In its day there were few everyday cars that could keep up but now would be seen off by a modest modern day turbo diesel

Does a Metro GTa count? It's quick... for a Metro!

I knew a very posh girl from Kensington who had one of those.  She drove it like the clappers.  She was in all respects a fast girl (and these days has a classic drophead Aston).   She once persuaded me to come fox hunting with her.  I was a bit meh about this on political/hippy loveJahpeace grounds, but I put my principles in the fridge and managed to stay on the horse, just.  Later, I caught the fox, if you take my meaning.   That's enough bragging for now.  Years later I had another pop (By this time she was a wealthy widow. Me, scumbag?  Surely not!)  but she sent me packing;  but not until I had blown a shedload on opera tickets and restaurants.  Hey ho, duff investments.  Better stick to shit cars instead.

I concur. My manual 825Si is also fast.

I like to drive from Mistley to Frinton without changing out of third. Sounds triffic.

I have never owned a performance car, shite or otherwise. I've "been in possession of the keys" to numerous hellaquick company ones, though.
