Hello all.

 

I may have just sold my Peugeot 205.

 

Although that is a good thing, it is my only car. I need a car to get to work on Monday morning, and then to my son's birthday on Monday evening.

 

So I have the waking hours of Sunday to find and buy a car. I love a challenge!

 

Ok - parameters...

 

1. Taxed. Preferably end of Feb or beyond

2. MOT'd. Preferably more than 3 months.

3. Larger and comfier than a Peugeot 205. Shouldn't rule much out then.

4. Ok on fuel - no V8's but a 2.0 petrol is not out of the question.

5. £0 - £600 - Might squeeze a bit more for the right car.

6. Modernish. By this I mean reliable, preferably injection not carb, but not dull and dreary.

7. 4/5 doors if possible.

Essex to North London, could it get any easier? Head to Bounds Green tube and add a 5 minute walk, job done. Drive home and enjoy. It's taxed for 6 months and MOT'd for a year.

That was shit planning, wasn't it?  Rock up here tomorrow with £600 and you can drive away a Peugeot 205 Sceptre turbo diesel with tax until August and MOT until November, recently serviced and a new cambelt and head gasket 6000 miles ago. PM me for details.

 

It's a highly competent piece of kit, it's got 5 doors, but it's not a Metro - which is what I crave.
