It's the windscreen washer system that puts the squirter in the blade itself for [perceived benefit] with no disadvantages except for the metre of loose rubber hose flopping about your scuttle all the time and the complete inability to buy replacement blades.

^^ As fitted to the Peugeot 405.

With the added advantage that the washers seem to freeze solid at the merest hint of a frost.

On the 405 (and any other sensible car) the washers are attached to the metal part of the wiper. These have the water coming out of the actual rubber blade.

That spray gun thing is utter witchcraft. I read the instructions and I still can't understand how it works

Why isn't the tyre pump under the bonnet with detachable hose standard on new cars yet? Pump under the bonnet, hose coiled up in the spare wheel or in a cubby in the boot. Seems sensible and easily doable to me.

Because it would

A. violate some stupid EU emission law

B. exceed the capability of one of the silicone idiots newfangled tosh is festooned with.

And C

Makers of moderns don't want owners doing ANYTHING - not even pumping up tyres.

As far as I can gather, this makes your brake lights flash. It also adds a brake light to your dashboard, which is a useful visual indicator as to whether you are pressing the brake pedal or not.

Check out the photo of the back of the box.

Check out this sellers other items he has enough gofer trinkets to supply all Autoshite needs.

I can't do eBay links but love the risqué cigarette holder.

Oh shit, you're right. He's the FLEXO wipers guy. He appears to be reluctantly selling off a collection of unusual accessories.

Look at these wind powered headlamp wipers. Guaranteed to reduce light output more than the dirt would!
