Avvery solid ? And I hate mugs who use capital letters in adverts! What a total twunt!

The seller is clearly an idiot, but £2500 doesn't seem too bad if it's as tidy as it looks and it does have a long MOT.

Not entirely sure if this is a bargain or tat. You decide.

Minty Lancia, looks yumtastic, slight concern that it appears to have been allowed out in the rain....

Being sold by a dealer, on behalf of a member of staff. It's nice, but FIVE GRAND? If it all works, and it's as nice as it looks, it's probably ok, and when did you see another for sale, especially in what appears to be as nice as this?

That Trevi is gorgeous (I'm feeling the love for ugly Lancia saloons at the moment), but £5k is too salty for me.

Speaking of rare Italians:

He's just spent money on some brake pipes and an exhaust, but the spare wheel well and the back panel are rotted through, there's a lot of condensation in there and no pictures of the interior. No idea of the mileage or how long it's been off the road, either.

£1,675?

And the minute you bolt it to your pride and joy it falls off and smashes on the floor, great!

theres one on ebay making 280 at the moment

I was explaining to SWMBO that as a kid i used to go around the scrap yard, when i visited with my dad, smashing those washer bottles with a hammer

Tell you what I bet it's not hard to make some fake glass bottles like that.

Once youve busted the bottle youd need to sit down to recover , how about doing that in these

Scene tax gone mad

Or these if the above are a tiny bit expensive

The bucket seat on the left in the 2nd link is as rare as rocking horse shit. I had a pair of these in my concours Mk2 Mexico which had been restored with new oldstock betacloth. Every show I did I would have 2 or 3 Rs1800 owners pestering me to sell them - became a running joke in the end. I was being offered £650 for the pair 10 years ago, God knows what they would be worth now

Mind you, they were as uncomfortable as hell for anyone over 5'6", with no thigh support at all (i'm 6'4). I remember getting out on the M25 in slow moving traffic as I couldnt take the pain anymore LOL

I think I got a pretty decent result with a Dolmio sauce bottle:

Its a Metro, which means it is worth 2/3 of 4/5 of FUCK ALL. Plus cars that have had so little use can have umpteen nasties hiding through lack of use. If it's the original tyres, they may need binning due to age, plus I bet loads of the rubber hoses are getting perished.

What a total wingnut!

Looking at the NCAP footage of those Rover 100 Metros makes me sick.

Did ncap use any Renaults in tests as I believe they broke down before the impact could happen

No worse than any other small car of the era

:lol::lol::lol:

Now come on, Laguna II, first car ever to get 5 stars! It's about the only thing it's good at so don't try and take that away from it!

Yup.... and I dread to think how the likes of a Talbot Horizon or Lada Samara would fare!
