ebay 'BARGAINS'

Not eBay, but here's a thread about a Dutch garage owner claiming he knows what he's got and it will sell eventually, asking 1000s for the piles of rust on his forecourt... he's got a good location too, and lives off the money he made from selling a few barns and sheds apparently. A few samples (pics taken last weekend):

Thats almost my dream garage, although I don't think even I could handle that much....

What he's got is a bunch of what were once lovely old cars, and are now so rotten only a half wit would want them!

Some of the stuff that he has undercover looks ok, the stuff thats outside looks totally shagged though.

Dutch garage has a Quintet! And one of those big-bumpered Stellars.

This isn't quite in the league of some of the bargains on this thread, but I think the buyer is optimistic...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-BLUEBIRD-S ... 0030631049

The annoying blurb at the beginning of the listing is bad enough, but £695 for a Bluebird with over 100k, no tax and only six weeks or so MoT? OK, it's a decent-looking example but there's a reasonably specced, clean saloon with similar mileage and longer MoT but only £395 also listed this week. And mine with half the mileage, fair bit of tax and much longer MoT was less again...

Never mind, they'll all be worth £2000+ soon.

:lol:That crud-covered Civic is borderline though!

LOL, you gotta admit thats pretty amusing.

Car looks f##king appalling, I thought only minis, beetles and pikey limos got the old pink paint treatment? Would never have guessed a C5 would be in line for it! Horrific.

It doesn't even say DICK HE, it says D10KHE, great if your name is Diok. The woman in the C5 with her flaps out looks as if she's been in a terrible accident. There's no way the car's worth £2800 either, it's the moneypit 2.2 engine and you can get tidy examples that are newer and not pink for less.

It is, of course, a pic of Jordan, photoshopped onto the shot of the car.

A bit "after the event," I know, but sufficient of a bargain for inclusion, I think. My brother's latest purchase:

This is an actual bargain, only 300 euro for a gorgeous Addax Attila from 1975:

It's a UMM - early one by the look of it. Probably got the 2.1 Indenor engine out of the 504.

Jeezus wept, what were they thinking of. Not only does that look shat, it appears to have been carried out to the lowest achievable standard.

Yeah, that looks a lovely place to be on a Friday night, I wonder if they have double diamond on draft?
