MOT history does not seem to back up the asking price... you think it's had a nuts and bolts resto? In the road outside the seller's house? What a talented man he must be!

So it's incomplete.

£120.00

HOW MUCH?

You can clearly see a rusty nearside sill on that Cherry, plus the back bumper is bent, it's not even worth a tenth of his asking price. Rating = grade one fucknuggettycockendedpeniswart chancer

....who has already got 17 bids and 22 enquiries in just 24 hours and it's nudging £1800 already

That's a £3k car, after a tidy and a decent mop.  It is after all, a 34-year-old 820kg Nissan N21 with the 113bhp Turbo motor.

Bumper might just needs the iron straightening, replacement should be sourceable quite easily from a base model anyhow.

It's not 2005 anymore

Car's worth about £1000 to the right person (mainly due to its fairly low mileage).

Know ye of such a person?

I'm not so sure; compared to some of the utter rubbish that makes ten grand (fucked Escort Mark 2 anyone?) it doesn't seem that dear. It's not my cup of tea but it'd look great sat in an Audi main dealer showroom. I'd prefer an early 100 saloon for that coin though.

You can get much cheaper kettles in Currys between Christmas and Boxing Day.

Currently at £3800

It ain't nowhere near the £10k BIN price it had on it originally though is it? Hence why it appears in this very thread.

There is no mention of a £10k BIN on that  'in this very thread'.  Nor does it show in the current auction.

All we have to go on is the mention of the starting price, which shows as a 'bullish' £1000

Currently at £4,200

Looks like great value to me, the car has never left the Oxford area for god's sake. It might mean nothing to you less discerning johnnies, but I wouldn't touch a 45 that had been through Brackley.

Five grand for that mediocre POS, ending on christmas day. If that is an actual sale I will fill my flat cap with turkey and cranberry and scoff the lot

We are confused.com. The seller originally listed that Cherry for £10,000 opening bid, he obviously had a re-think then lowered the starting bid to a grand and this is where you saw it and obviously wondered what we were going on about.

Anyway with all that dodgy bidding it will be back no doubt.

Non-vehicular price escalation.

£15.00

On this speculative basis my box of [-]moldy tat[/-] rare and valuable motoring periodicals is worth a grand more than it was yesterday.
