so the moral of the story is, if you want a cheap two door escort you have to get a written off, mouldy one.

Yes.Then steal the best one you can find.
Oh, I don't know about that. Mine wasn't that expensive.Won't be cheap by the time I get it home, like...

ROFLOLCOPTER!Twelve effing grand for that? Another numpty who probably thinks it's good vfm because someone chucked a load of money at it.Don't get me wrong it's a nice enough car but seems to prove the old adage of turd polishing.

That is purely scrap. To put that back to even roadworthy is going to be a bloody fortune.I reckon that needs £5k worth of bits. Minimum. Paintjob will be a couple of grand on top, labour about the same, then there's retrimming where they've casually removed the screens from the headrests, replacing all the bits that they've nicked from it and trying to get it to drive right after a hefty shunt. Exhaust system is gonna be a couple of grand, and I bet it'll be knackered after a thump like that. So, £20k might get it back to being almost respectable. I'm flogging a 20k mile, mint one that hasn't been spit-roasted for that.

That rolls royce isnt worth that in a month of sundays.I can just imagine some clueless punter buying that, coming home and exclaiming, 'IVE BOUGHT ME A ROLLER FOR CHEAP'then going to the garage and watching his money evaporate. Also, its in two different front end conditions in the pictures on the listing, whats the exact one?

It's actually the invisible third option that they haven't shown in the photos, where they have actually stripped half of the vehicle including the engine and most of the interior. They'll then use a hi-ab to get it to the edge of the yard when you go to collect it.

^^^I believe that Cavalier's advertised on the MK2CAV website under the thread title, "Selling my amazing SRI". It's nice but it's not even a 130, ffs.

This looks a bargain at £4500

The location would go someway to explaining the price as it seems used cars fetch obscene amounts of money over there.

With that rippling down the sides and crickly rear bumper he hasn't spent fortunes restoring it has he?

It's worth a bullseye

Exactly the same as my old one (D178 OTX), absolutely fucking hearted that car.

However that's not worth £2395 in a century of Sundays, it needs a grand knocking off to be nearer the mark but I would give £1500 for it if I had the money.

Did anyone ever see the 130 a lad from Mk2Cav.com restored? Fair play it was like brand new inside, outside and underneath, he spent an absolute fortune on it.
