OK, so this Jaguar XJ-RS in "excellent condition" is up for sale at what appears to be £4,000.

But apparently excellent condition means this:

$T2eC16NHJIQFHHbpvrIHBSQFMr,2ug~~60_12.J

And it gets better than that... reading the description, the car will only be sold if the lucky* buyer stumps up a further £3,000 to have the car restored by the seller!

But that's OK, because "THIS GIVES THE PROSPECTIVE BUYER PIECE OF MIND AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN RESTORED CORRECTLY AND NOT JUST FILLED WITH FILLER ETC"

Whatever happened to the 'Ebay spelling ' thread?

Seems to have disappeared off the face of the forum.

Even more shite than an xjs but rong fred i fear

In some eyes, maybe. I think anything more than a score for it is too expensive though. :D

Take all the crap off and there is a great little car under there. Shame really.

For sale is a 1972 Ford Pinto V8 conversion called 'The Bulldog'. This ford was built only for the US market and built to emmulate the success minis had in Europe in the USA. These cars originally had fitted a 2 liter Pinto engine hence was called the Ford Pinto. It has now got a huge 302 cubic inch for motor and transmision which is equivilent to 5.0litre for V8. This is a monster as it has been strenghten and braced to take such power. The custom exhaust is direct occationally trowing flames from the top mounted exhaust on the 2 fenders or wing. This has to be seen to be understood. Hot rod Bulldog. Many Thanks Elo

Price: £29000 Or near offer

Elo: you're illiterate, and your hideous belming seppo Capri is massively overpriced

Get it cubed and go straight back to school.

What a shitehawk, those ‘exhausts’ coming out the front wings are not even connected up to anything. That is not a hot rod it’s just a half-arsed barry shiteheap. Actual value: £1950 on a good day

Last thing you want on a Pinto is flames, I would have thought.......

Fantastic!

Has been carefully stored since 1995.

Obviously!

It's truly exceptional, really, really nice, I think it's well worth a hefty premium over the usual market value.

How does £2,500 sound?

Classified ad price: £4,950.00

What???

Nah, man. It's not a Bentley after all.

Has to be said that it isn't the most tragic replica I've ever seen

It is a fine replica but who'd buy a fake anything for more than the real thing.

I notice that the main picture seems to be a photo of a photo of it circa 1995. So here is a photo of the photo of a photo of it circa 1995.

Believed to have had over £19000 pounds spent in 1989

Ah so that's why you are asking £6k for it? Dreamer.

My ex-bird didn't pay a lot more than that for an actual, real Vanquish. £33k lifted it.

I'm sure it's lovely:

$(KGrHqQOKosFHm0s+Qk+BR95hkiZog~~60_57.J

But with 59K on the clock - not 59, but fifty-nine-fucking-thousand-miles - it must be the only galvanised-shell-from-the-factory to warrant £3495?  :shock:

It's only a 1.1 GTA - I don't think a multipoint GTi would be worth that.

Someone on here's mate owned that or something, and sold it for about £300 or something like that It's also had a front ender, apparently it's nowt special.
