I used to have a dog that kept disappearing for an hour or so. I eventually found out it was going through a hole in the fence and into next doors garden to rummage in the bin. Perhaps the Internet equivalent needs a pallet nailing over the hole?

still nothing on server logs.

I have just set up pingability alert trigger,this will alert me if site itself goes down at all,and when it comes back up.

Have to admit that i have been having trouble accessing other sites today from time to time.

None of them on my servers so it could just be a general dns issue & nothing to do with site itself

No worries Dave! Am sure you are doing all you can, even if it is nowt to do with you or the site. We are a patient lot. Once your super powers kick in after 7 all will be well!

more oddness happening  cant access the site on my iphone usjng safari atomic or tapatalk says server not found   currently using puffin. Cant access over 3g  or home wireless netowrk but wireless netowrk at work was fine

 

have cleared caches and cookies . any ideas?

I couldn't access AS from my mobile 'phone today, Dave. I'm not sure if it's related to the problems you've been having with the website or something else.

I'm only just back on, it's been a problem all day. Tried a variety of computers and browsers. Cookie problem has been eliminated.

I've not had any problems at all today however Trigger, GaryCox and a few others on FB have been having issues.

I use www.opendns.com for my  dns, not the isp ones.

Just had the same SQL message as Studebaker Hawk for about 5 minutes, got back in without clearing cookies - hope this helps.

I wonder if it's a cookie issue too. I cleared all mine out just before we reverted to .com and haven't had any issues at all today.

Got up this morning to find no power in street.
Just came back on.

My pc and one of my lappies are dead,presumably from power surge as they had both been left on overnight.
Am on old sloooowww lappie and have just discovered that i have many messages from pingability saying that autoshite server has been up and down like a whores knickers overnight and has finally shat itself totally.
Autoshite is getting put on my main server forthwith.
Its going to take a while as i have to go buy a motherboard/cpu for my pc first,then get that running before i can do anything on autoshite.
Should be up later today though.
I cant believe my run of problems recently,dunno what i have done to offend the great server god recently.
