Ah the famous car wheel conversion

Great for not going around corners at all.....

GR8 for sidecar outfits, but otherwise retarded.

For extra stabilities when on the back wheel innit? Also, wide car tyres cheaper.

A fair few years ago, this was taken in 2004, I owned this. Rover V8. Auto box. Sierra IRS.

Looks shite! Wasn't! Handled well, went well. Never let me down. Still going well, I saw it last year.

Remember being wowed by Tom Tuohy's trikes many years ago, but I've long wondered...how well do they steer? What's the turning circle like?

Man with invisible dog has a drink problem as apparent with the bottle in his pocket

There's a man with a purple beard

That's a Tom Touhy trike. Number 77. It really was very good. Steering was a bit heavy but it would track straight and true and corner very well. Turning circle was fine, never gave any problems.

That's not a drink problem, he's looking after his bottle very well.

Also there's always a man with a purple beard!

In my world anyway

I'm after the carbs for my wife's blade, they're £150 nowadays as ever fits them on kit cars have pushed the price up.

I saw two Goldwings in convoy, both had trailers. Might as well just buy an Aygo.

I used to regularly see a fully-dressed Goldwing with sidecar & trailer around Margate when I lived in that part of the world. And occasionally an NSU Kettenkrad, which was much, much nicer.

Haven't seen one of these for years. My first bike! First of August 1980 not that it's an important date to me or anything

Can't be many left now.

No indeed, iirc the z250's cam ran in the head which killed lots of them off at a young age.

I was unlucky enough to have one of those and it's bigger even more unreliable sibling the gpz305 . The 305 was a nice bike - when it ran

Wow, they've got their own website :-)

http://www.z250.co.uk/index.html

(Discovered whilst double-checking whether later models of the z250 also got a belt drive like the GPz 305... they did)

Nope, not even that... it appears to be a solo effort from some dyed-in-the-wool z250 licker & mainly consists of some old press photos & a description of the features of each model.

Nary a mention of phosphor bronze, sadly.

The old XL or CB 250 used to run well with 1000 mile oil changes a friend ran his cb250rs upto about 50k before we stripped it for a look and it was spotless.
