On Sunday night went to a wine festival

Leaving I found these parked in the surrounding roads. I was a wee bit drunk so excuses for the camera work. There are one or two interesting cars in the background of the main object.

Focus

I think this is a Second Gen MINI convertible

I'm away on holiday in Bourton-On-The-Water in Gloucestershire for a few days. Although a lovely place to relax, it does sometimes feel like I'm walking around on a set of "Midsomer Murders"! That said, Morris (or should that be Austin?) vans are dotted about; one beautifully preserved and one....not!

IMG_5288.jpegI forget to add that there's motor museum in the town, which has loads of real Autoshte in it!

Believe it or not, the Vectra possibly looked worse from the front.  I suspect the owner was not in Holland & Barrett

I don't know what this is without some research.

1950 Ford Prefect, apparently. Home-brewed conversion I'm assuming? Looks like the registration has been pulled since though.

There were lots of these about after WW2, as they could be registered commercial to avoid Purchase Tax.

I remember the sketch where Dame Edna said something like Look a half-timbered car, these moggie are just caring on  with that theme.

Sorry for the Google Streetview pic but, bloody hell, a Proton! Spotted on the A490 near Llanfyllin.
