Traveller site nearby and the old guy on there has these - I missed the White FORD - will get it when I pass later. He was a decent guy and happy someone was interested in the old girls..... He's put a lot of work into them.....

This is almost finished

380062385_AlmostDone.thumb.jpg.576189ba494acbea03e714e9df3afa20.jpg

and this is on site carthorse duties but the handbrake recently gave out

TK.thumb.jpg.6101c200fc441ae759f7cdace495bb57.jpg

and one of the larger bits of detritus cost him the rear tyre on this one - new tyres were piled up outside his shed awaiting fitting

it had a HUGE slab of marble in the back too - with other building detritus. They all earn their keep for sure.

Red-Ford.thumb.jpg.efd3ca455111c94766eb460932a45913.jpg

Will pap the white Ford when I get by again

Some high-end Sapphires.

Also, got a slightly better pic of the Fiesta Turbo at the end of the street.

Says it's only been out of MOT since November, surprisingly.

The rampant bootlid rust suggests things are less than fantastic below the surface...

lt's hard to make out, but I think it says 'Sierra 2.0i GLS' - just as well the 'Sapphire' badging is so small and below, otherwise it might have had to go right round the side...

It's a recent import from Sri Lanka and a rough old dog with thick filler on just about every panel and a strange bulging front edge to the roof where the screen fits.

And this was next to it.

Always thought the glass on these 145s was peculiar.  Three separate pieces on that rear three quarter panel.

Not something you see every day any more.

...Not totally sure why the owner seems to have chosen the number plate style and position to block as much surface area of the intercooler as possible...

Spotted these two in Devon (Postbridge to be precise). I Googled how to decipher German numberplates and wonder if they might be examples of German vanity plates, which are apparently available for a small fee.

Seems a coincidence that the 350SL has the same number on the plate and the silver one has 560. However, if the silver car is a 560SL then it's an import as the 560 was apparently only sold in the USA, Canada, Japan and Australia.

Handbrake-Brick-Passat.thumb.jpg.d9bc90335226602db0ff37035926b00e.jpg

van-man-done.thumb.jpg.7dd055bc15c6b25868402e762aa708df.jpg

and the VW recently ended up in the air

vw-floater.thumb.jpg.a5e357f78a9fe596a872257e568a2cbb.jpg

with the Shogun on the drive blocked in by it - I left a note on the Pajero/Shogun - see if they bite

T4 not come out too - both yesterday afternoon - so it was me I suppose.
