Lock the thread for today...gacdMfw.jpg

I can't believe this is nearly 40 years old!

Fuck me! That’s a good spot!

Lock the thread for 2019 I reckon.

Cheers Dan! I was pretty surprised, I had to hold up the traffic while I activated my 'dash cam', all the time thinking what a let down to the forum I would be if I failed to snap it!

I remember when I was little my mum was doing her driving lessons in a dark blue/purple-ish colour one. I’ve probably not seen one since!

And it was absolutely worth it to hold up traffic to get the pic!

That early Sierra TMK318Y looks nice.

It's a 1.6 L and had a keeper change on 15th February.

Hopefully it has a better fate awaiting it than the one in front of it...

I'll be keeping a quiet eye on it, that's for sure.. The red one is almost certainly going to be a stock car/hot rod (not sure of the official Spedeworth classification) but I'd hope the beige mk.1 is too good for such a fate. We'll see.

I'm aware this is the worst photo of all time.

I think you'll find 'Lemon Party' was the worst photo of all time. This comes a close second.

Found these two in Ashbourne. Neighbour said the house has been repossessed and the cars aren’t registered to any one. The guy brought the Merc as a pension fund, then let it go to shit.post-26303-0-77254600-1551736255_thumb.jpegpost-26303-0-57946600-1551736268_thumb.jpeg

The van is full of tools and the trees that have grown from under it have been cleaning the alge off.

^ There's obviously a sad story there. Amazing how quickly cars go to pot just by being left.
