This Fiat 500 has 1380 BMC A series/transaxle power and was blindingly quick. It's fascinating cars like this that make Hill Climbing so interesting.

Not sure its wise giving out the exact location on public forum

It's always parked there, so not exactly difficult to spot, and the location is very well known anyway.

A pristine example of a white FTO - M-reg. in B&M Bargains car park - no photo as I left all the cameras at home :(

Speaking to my Dad , he reckons there was 2 registered with Aberdeen numbers , one was resold in the 70’s to a chap in Ellon area , not sure if it was this one however original owner lost an arm & leg as no one wanted them ,oh to have a time machine.

I can't imagine demand for the SM was particularly high in NE Scotland at that time. LHD only would have put a fair few people off.

URS 983K has an interesting MoT history - the most recent fail was in August last, and it also had a fail in 2015, 2012 and 2011.

Spotted at a local military vehicle show in Pembrokeshire last weekend, a selection of what was on display...

Rover 100, Morris Oxford and Standard Flying 12 with rather tenuous military connections:

Series 3 109s. 'Fitted For Radio' (FFR) with 24V electrics. These two were both into service in 1984 and were some of the last petrol S3s made for the army.

Defender 110 DPV replica although built from 'genuine' parts. These generally had V8 power but this one is unusual in being fitted with a 200Tdi engine.

Looks like there were 2 v8's in the garage that day.

This has been owned by the owner of the garage I was at for about 20 years.

That K reg Mondeo was bought in June 2009 and never had an MOT test since, last one expired in May 2010.  Didn't fail, just wasn't tested again.

I couldn't really work out where to ask a question like this, so I thought here would be as good a thread as any....

It's not a spot by me, but is a 'flickr' spot whilst trawling through albums of anonymous photos...

Does anyone know what the white van is on the left. I've established the white vehicle on the left is a Toyota Land Cruiser (J50), but I've drawn a blank with the other...

Could it be either an ARO from Romania or the later Portuguese Portaro version? Being a van would make it an ARO 243 according to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARO_24_Series

That does look like a ARO, thought it looked familiar. Cheers.
