I always quite liked the look of FTOs and almost bought one a few years back. Had a few Celicas and mk1 MX5s instead. FTOs are a bit like classic Imprezas - they now seem to have all but disappeared.

It was absolutely mint! The steel rims were as new. Had a Jan '01 tax disc in the windscreen and honestly looked as if that was the last time it was used. Lovely

Looks quite high spec. Wood rim steering wheel (genuine option) and auto. Defo not derv or 1.8t, they all have boot badges so I'd like to think it's a V6.

My amazingly shit picture doesn't do this justice , it has a 4 tailpipe exhaust system that sounds like a (slow) C63 AMG.

We've been told the yard where I keep my bus is likely to be sold in the next year or so with plans for some sort of retirement village. Yet nobody seems in any hurry to leave, in fact new stuff keeps arriving. Like this.

Battered gold Scorpio in Barnstaple today - never seen it around before.  It looked tidy from the front but there's hardly a straight panel on it and the rear bumper doesn't match -  despite the dents down the passenger side it was fairly clean and there's no obvious rot on it.  These do look quite appealing, getting to be a rare sight now.

 

Just looked up the MOT history, it's been on the road consistently since 2006 but has only done 3,000 miles in that time!  Probably explains why I've not seen it about before.  Rear suspension area rot has been an advisory for years and last year was the longest list yet so there's probably some welding coming up for it.
