Easily done, imageshake is a bit shit. I can't work out a way of getting the pictures in order either.

Craig, you could just make a vertical list of the picture numbers in the link, then beside each one the number of votes for it. Everyone who wants to vote quotes the list and adds one vote beside each one they like. It wouldn't matter if we each voted for three or six or twelve images... you just take the 12 pictures with the most votes.

For example:

Could the links to the photo be printed on each months page as a QR Code? Then then people ask me what said picture is all about I can quickly bring up the back story and satisfy their shite cravings!

No problem with self-nomination. I would suggest picking the best of a selection rather than all of them and splitting the vote but it's up to you.

I would say don't add too many more if we have to finally whittle it down to 12, otherwise we'll end up with all the pics getting a couple of votes and it'll ultimately be a bit indecisive.

Good idea, so just post the numbers you want (no limit on number of votes or on self-voting).
