Zelandeth Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Hmm...going to need to work on this! Three out of five lamps working. One out of two in the instrument panel, the heater controls and blower switch. We're missing half the instrument panel, rear window demister switch and the clock. Watch this space... uk_senator, Lacquer Peel, LightBulbFun and 1 other 4
PhilA Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 66 Plymouth Fury. I particularly like the way the gearshift position indicator is illuminated via light from the odometer hole; you cannot see the source in the car, the steering is in the way. Main beam is a funny shade of purple, and very dim. Yup, this car is before you got symbols for anything. adw1977, Lacquer Peel, Conrad D. Conelrad and 2 others 5
adw1977 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 That speedo looks more recent than 1966, like something from the 80s. PhilA 1

Zelandeth Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Hmm...Think I might need to try to improve this a bit before it counts! Fancy late Mk I with illumination for the heater controls, I didn't have that on my one...
Noel Tidybeard Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 i think it was posh ones that got those lights

My father's A plate one with them was as basic as basic got I thought. Didn't even have a clock in the dash or side indicator repeaters (had orange reflectors instead). It didn't have lighting on the accessory switches though which this one does (and that now works again). Sadly I've had to label the dash lighting as "will come back to that" as I'd forgotten that on the Mark I that you need to unbolt the whole binnacle from under the dash to get into it. Of course being a BL product there are things in the way of that being a 30 second job!
cobblers Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I've finally replaced all the previous owners horrible green LEDs in the T25 with good old incandescent bulbs, ready for my dark winter commutes. Mega fog today, pretty cold too. Plodding along with heater going in weather like this is a lot more pleasing than it has any right to be. I really love winter. mat_the_cat, LightBulbFun, Rust Collector and 5 others 8
