^MR2 GTS Turbo, or someone trying to make theirs look like it is. TRD and Tom's also sold those snorkel kits.

The Dodge is making eyes at me. Definitely. Not least 'cos my mate had something similar years ago, and it was the most hilariously pointless car to ever own.

Nice pics... I shared a Riley 1.5 with a friend many moons ago. It was very quick. We bought it for Ã‚Â£50, used it for autotests and pcts for a summer then scrapped the car, selling the reg for Ã‚Â£50. Value!

Yeah, I've got a massive lob on for that Bond... It's a shame the general public are so ignorant to its charms, but it never really stood a chance sandwiched between an Escort Mexico and a new Ferrari!

That beigey gold Marina 'koop' is doing a good job of re-profiling my trousers, too. Genuinely nice looking cars I reckon and a great wheel choice. YUM!

Back on home turf for the annual midweek spectacular that is Harpenden Classics on the Common. This event always contains some spectacular chod and many rarities which makes up for the ridiculous amount of scene tosh in attendance, that and the high levels on CLUNGE walking about.

You should have done, there were only a couple of Cortinas there from memory, 1 MkIV and 1 MkIII ! Unlike Escorts and Capris, of which there were very many....

Might well consider it for next year. Is it just a case of turning-up?

As a spectator, yes and it's free entry but donations are encouraged. They give you a little sticker to wear which prevents you being hassled by collection buckets more than once and you can move freely between the sections safe in the knowledge that you've chipped into it.

If you want to take a car there to display, you need to apply a while beforehand as with the Bromley Pageant and you may have a deadline of at least a couple of weeks before the event unless there is still space at a late stage which is unlikely. It's reasonable though, only about 6 quid I think.

Great show, not been before, spotted Seth and his beige estate, met EL by a shiteworthy R6 and saw all variety of interesting vehicles. It has all the variety you would expect at Bromley but on a smaller scale and less regimented. Still took me about 5 hours to see everything as by being there early on, I had to keep returning to the same sections later to see new arrivals. Took over 800 pics

Would definitely go again next year!
