It says on page 1 that it was taxed until 1984

So I rang the nice lady at the DVA and she confirmed this

I think a grab of its sexy arse is worth doing as well  8)

Just asking - I was out in Deptford today and saw a black Princess driving east towards Greenwich. Was it anyone off here? Bloke at the wheel - no other passengers in car. Looked great - I was one car in front in a dark green Citroen AX. Fairly warmed my cockles to see Harris Mann's finest mixing it with everyday traffic.

So indeed it is there. Was only looking at Vulgalour's pretty pictures, as I'm a simple soul and words baffle me. At least there's a picture for the record now.

I was watching Keeping Up Appearances and this Princess hearse was featured.

And while I'm here, I might as well put the Father Ted hearse in too.

Not a fantastic pic I grant you, but it's the only one I've been able to find...

My old Woodall Nicholson 2.2 - UCP 171X, used as a daily driver late 90s/early 00s (I think).

Had an indicated 110 out of it on a private test track AKA Westbound A30 between Bodmin and Victoria.

Potatocam pic of EFX444Y spotted today in Chichester. It's been undergoing a rolling restoration as OSF wing and driver's door are both in grey primer.

I'll try and get a better photo, and keep you up to speed as I see more silver being added to it.

Ah, I recognise that Ambassador.  He's had it ages and I hadn't seen a recent picture of it.  I think he updates on Facebook more than the club forum.  Good to know it's out and about doing its thing.

I'll have to double-check, but I think that's two more hearses unearthed for the records.  Top work, folks :D

Last time I saw EFX444Y it had no grille, no front bumper but a newly fitted valance and OSF wing. And front number plate in windscreen. Noticed it has bonus Plaaaaahhhh as well.

Sadly I'll be moving from this area of Chichester soon, but still working here.

Corgi 'Vanguards' did  LCC23

62606e.jpg

...which is a bit of a red herring as LCC 23 is the model number in a range of chrome vanguards (Lledo Collesction Club)-

LCC 34 being a scooby doo & LCC 10 a Triumphant 2000 etc

UET 232S (a slippery smooth 2200 6 cylinder automatic) has just been listed on eBay for £600 / £750 BIN - it’s only 2 owners from new and looks pretty sound - worth saving for sure at that price!

Save me from doing summat silly!!

No BIN now that bids are on it. I reckon £900

Just popped up on eBay from very long-term slumber: 1977 1800HL in one of the browns (Reynard?) WGK 220R.

Looks quite solid and could live again.

Poor photo but this was in a yard at Silver End, Essex in 1997. Thought it was a rarity even then.

Took this in Selkirk a few years back. It had been untaxed since 1990. I'll check if its still there next time i'm down.

Met the new owner of MPC389W today, a fellow HubNutter from Northampton who said he's been trying to sign up here but didn't get the validation email. Anyone remember a 17 year old lad who turned up here a while ago having been given a Princess but not being able to insure it - this is that car.

Should be looking at this tomorrow

It’s not on your list so I thought I’d mention it

1700HL. Am told one owner 78k. Taken for its first MOT for years in 2013, failed, so put back under its tarp in the lean-to

I don't remember wedges making Cortinas look that small.

I'm going to try and make some time this weekend to update this, especially with the new stuff popping up.  I'm amazed just how many cars keep appearing that still survive.
