Autoshite Dealership Sticker

Recommended Posts

I had this brainwave tonight looking at the Autoshite logo... looks a lot like it could be a dealership rear window sticker. Oh look, there's an Autoshite thread about that: http://www.autoshite.co.uk/phpbb3/viewt ... 5&start=15

I'm tempted to get one made up for the Princess since she weirdly doesn't have a dealership sticker in the rear window, I say weirdly because I did expect there to be a crispy, sun bleached, brown edged remnant of a sticker there but there's nothing.

So just imagine a beige sticker with the Autoshite "your motoring is our concern" bit from the forum and the website address below. Maybe a list of our favourite manufacturers and/or their logos too.

Your thoughts on the subject are welcome.

Mark Minimad5 had some mad up a couple of years ago. They were pretty cool.

if theres going to be a new run of them, I could do with one for the GOOF.

I was thinking maybe something a bit more like this? It's not precisely what was in my head, it needs someone slightly better at designing these things to have a crack at it.

Thats actually pretty cool.

Although, I not sure if I expect anything with its roots in this place to be 'cool' per-say.

Isn't there that chap on RR that makes stickers of anything you want, could be good to drop him any ideas.

Just for fun

This is a smashing idea. I'd love one for theYaris...

Peter, that Leyland one is ace!

+1 on the Leyland sticker, it's fantastic!

I'd happily pay for 6 of these, of someone's able to produce them. The idea of the Sachsenring (I think that's how you spell the Trabant factory) badge on a car sticker is totally cool!

I too really like Peter's BL one, that's excellent, it's precisely the sort of finish in my head that the one I knocked up should have. Now, where to get them produced?

Yes, but can we take the Renault logo off and replace it with the logo from another manufacturer that doesn't exist any more?

Or wait 12 months?

Here is my attempt;

This is very good.

Regarding my efforts, It bothers me a lot that computer versions of fonts never really look like the old print versions.

One of each of these...

And one of these...

At least. Maybe more. Probably more Leyland ones as I'd stick one each on the Nationals too.

Why not just swap Renault with another brand from the same group?

How about the third one?

I had one of those Arthur Daley stickers! Think it was on my last Volvo. MM5 has been kind enough to send me some of the Autoshite ones too, and I've distributed some among my friends here... I've kept at least one back for something special, which will most likely be after we move now. Oh and I sent one to my friend in San Diego! 8) I'd be well up for an Autoshite dealer sticker, or several!

So... who's organising getting these printed? I have this sinking feeling I've volunteered myself for that task by suggesting this in the first place.

I have a contact in the printing trade, I'll drop him a message for prices.

For your Nationals - how about one of these for each window, then leave them parked outside your nearest station as the commuters arrive...
