Shite in Miniature II

I have a small number of small cars, some more modern, some older. Is it worth posting them on here in case they are of interest?

The crack-ups where the front end revolves and the bonnet pops up are much better than the ones with the "dented" door panel. The shut-lines look vaguely where they should be, and such things were paramount to a nine year-old with diecast OCD.

Color Shifter taxi/police cruiser. These older colour changing cars often seem to show both paint schemes as they age

I seem to have several of these, stuck in various shades between the yellow taxi and gray-green police paint schemes

Happened to be in Tesco picking up a few essentials earlier and there were no Matchbox there apart from the 9 packs. There wasn’t the cider I wanted either so I came away empty handed 0/10.

The minis are in various states of repair. The other stuff is ok though. They’re in the way really, so I’m not sure if they’d be of any interest to a shiter.

Almost forgot this one. Unopened, with a funny storage tin and a calendar card from 2005 🤣

That's a lot of minis! Matchbox camper is a nice one too - how much do you want for it?

Found a Lone Star group on Facebook and was discussing the Transit recovery vehicles. I'm sure @Datsuncog and others will be interested in this

apparently available as a reproduction part. Finding out about costs...

Oh, fantastic... very interested in a repro jib and hook (even if it does threaten my nascent Tow Jam acquisition empire).

Cheers for the detective work!

Just a quickie photo, from a listing on Trademe for some old Matchbox collectors mags (MICA).

The batch of mags on offer are from 1986-93 and I'm wondering if there's maybe some more up to date info anywhere - like any further ones which have been discovered, etc. 3 known survivors is a pretty small number!

There should be another part to that,it hangs on the hook, and will attach to the car to be towed.

Just bought myself a birthday present.

I've blown way to much dosh on a Brooklin Models 1967 Buick Wildcat.

So what do you get for too much money ?

Some fancy packaging :

Containing a very posh box:

Off course, as soon as this arrived another popped up on ebay for 2/3 of what I just paid ....

After getting my 1:43 models on display a couple of weeks ago, I decided to start searching for more models. Mk1 Granada estates and mk4 Cortina estates are available but ridiculous money, my search eventually led me to Jumajo in France who had a selection of nice models at sensible prices so I decided to order a few and they arrived today!

Mucho excitement!

I am very impressed with Jumajo, I had daily updates of the models journey and a very accurate arrival date. Nice models at a good price compared to Vanguards etc. I clearly made a mistake not checking the scale of the SM. I highly recommend Jumajo and may purchase more in the future as I would love to modify some to look like my real cars. If I could make miniature numberplates and move the steering wheel to the correct side they would be even more amazing.
