Opened the 2nd Bini I got and sorted the pillars out. Looks much better now.

And, fuck it, I also opened one of the JPS Europas because it's Friday. Its a very nice little model indeed and I warmed to it as soon as it was out of the blister.

Gently rub a cotton bud dipped in non-acetone nail varnish remover over the decals & they should disappear!

Picked up a HW 944 today, there were two. The Entertainer is a good place to go, it was rammed with Hotwheels cars. One member of staff even cracked a case for me however I don't think the 850 is with us yet.

It needs more than just the red light though!

I’d normally say treat it as a donor as your a-pillar will not gain an MOT

But there are aftermarket collections of lights on sprue for a couple of quid

Even better, get a flashing red LED and fit a 3v Lithium cell in there. I might even give you one of my spares

I hadn't spotted the a pillar! I've just seen that model supplies do sets of 15 beacons/sirens not cheap though...

Maybe it's a parts car as it needs a new transparency too.

Good find. Still no Scoobies or 944s to be had around these parts yet! Apparently there are only one or two 944s to a case at the mo but there should be more when the next case is announced. There's going to be a recolour to gold as well next year, I'm looking forward to seeing that!
