Oh wow even as a kid I'd have thought that was shit

I can imagine the idea was floated by an old boy on the board.  Fond memories of what he had as a lad, before he inherited his first pair of shoes, from an elder brother

Anyway, that box content got assessed.

What do we have then?

Chipperfields Circus stuff is £££ for a start so you've done well there. It would have been a tragedy if that lot was thrown away.

Makes me wonder how many actually valuable old toys get dumped by charity shops because they're "old and broken" while they instead try to sell the worthless Days Gone "collector's items" that are the ones that belong in landfill.

Lamborghini looks familiar

Any branding on the white IROC Camaro?

Exactly the same Lamborghini.

White Iroc has sadly been stood on or something. It's a blank base, just Made in Hong Kong on it, and Ertl style 5-hole  wheels.

I thought they had teams of staff feverishly looking up prices for everything on ebay these days so this sort of thing didn't happen? I'm guessing it was a dodgy 'independent' charity shop rather than one of the big names? anyway, I guess you wouldn't have a Spot On Lambretta if they'd bothered to look it up.

It's a tidy store, supporting Autistic children's Day Centres and other events across the three counties.  It's simply that the staff have no knowledge or interest, or need to.  The store managers are on minimum wage, the others are hardy Mums from the nearby estate just doing a few hours local volunteer work so their benefits aren't stopped.  They do get overwhelmed with donations though, I will admit.  Only tidy sellable items warrant shelf space

Anyhow, it's the Britains not the Spot-on in this case.  They are subtly different, not least the Britains has a headlamp jewel

Some great finds here recently by @flat4alfa & @cms206!

A great collection of Corgi Chipperfields and the Matchbox 305 I have a couple of Norev 305s, but never seen a Matchbox one.

I went to Ford Market today and picked up these for £3, not in the same league, but ok for me

First a Corgi Super Sonics (never heard of them) SAAB 9000

In very tidy condition

A King Size XJ12, never had before

Has a splat of something on the A pillar and windscreen. Also a Lesney Morris J2 like I had as a kid and the chassis of a Corgi Mk10 Jaag ( @eddyramrod do you have one from me with a broken chassis?)!462583103_501889708977518_6167973127329681008_n.jpg.6297b9e1f0dc98ec9e9aaa4aeb29bf10.jpg

Found this HW MuskTruck in Tesco just now and duly purchased for Longbridge Jr for Crimbo. Quite a nice little casting.

I'll stick it in your box then unless you want it put on super emergency extra fast delivery order?

They use the same type of pull back motor as a Matchbox Turbo Special - slow pullaway then they fly off. Seemingly very unloved but I've had a few

Corgi Super Sonics Chevrolet Camaro Corgi Super Sonics Saab 9000 Corgi Super Sonics BMW 635 CSI Corgi Super Sonics BMW 635 CSI Corgi Super Sonics Opel Manta 400 Corgi Super Sonics Chevrolet Camaro Corgi Super Sonics Saab 9000

In the box will do fine, thank you; a couple of weeks won't make any difference.

While we're here: who else is holding a box for me, and where does it stand?  It might be a good idea to get them all squared away for Christmas.

I can see my SAAB will be hitting the skirting board in the near future!

The Jag has revealed it's chrome finish, but it has suffered losses.

I might go up to Hobby Time and see if I can get some glass paint to attempt restoring the original look.

It's a Corgi Junior.

That's the Rockets version.

Think chrome is quite unusual, usually they turn up in clear green over a silver base. I wonder if the colour has been stripped off

Corgi Rockets Jaguar XJ6

Looking closer I can see the green inside rear window area
