Montego dizzler estate is a proper, full-on win mobile. Looks bloody tidy too, have you got a thread about it on here and if not could you do one please?

Oh yes! The Maestro should polish up I reckon. I had a moonraker blue EFi Maestro and thoroughly enjoyed shitting all over Nova SR's in my "old man's car". Felling the love for the Monty VP too.

That maestro is ahead of its time- apparently its the in thing if you live in a posh london suburb to have a satin black car on the drive!

i saw a bentley in whitechapel covered in a matt black wraparound with black alloys.... looked a fuggin mess

I saw a matt/satin black new shape Merc SL a couple of weeks ago, it looked dreadful. It had black alloys too, which I never like. I bet it wasn't cheap either!

edited for Bratty fingers.

very nice, but how do you stop them rusting?

My dad had a Montego turbo diesel and it was a fantastic car, but was having warranty repairs on the bodywork before it was six years old.

Love the Austin and MG fleet. All fab clunge mobiles! Had MG Monty back in the day, nice and nippy car, reliable but rusting even then. My mate is still running a k plate Monty estate, total shed bodywise but just keeps on running, its a bit like Triggers broom though

Glorious selection of chod there.

Montego State for me, ta. I secretly don't mind the late spec estate jobs.

Nice collection you go there, my fave probably being the 86' Gold Montego VP EFi. As a driver of a mk1 Rover 800 it seems strange that I've never tried a Montego, or any other Austin/Rovers of that era (Meastros, Rover 213/216, maybe one day eh...) apart from a C-reg Metro.

Ha, me too! :D

That's the view most people got...

Top shiting skillz there, well done!

Like the VDP monty - like the one my dad had, but on a D plate and in silk green. I had a B reg Cav SRi at the time and the monty was quicker. Like many others rust took it in the end, IIRC even the windscreen fell out.

Must have missed this first time round! You sir are one of life's great winners, and I salute you. Montego estates look like fab tho ga, but it would have to be a VDP for me.

Class.
