  1. Be brave medium sized Citroen. Today will be your day....
  2. I thought my silver R50 Cooper looked quite nice.
  3. I hope you weren't serious about the bloke in the bushes, jeez.
  4. Obv if you do paint it something else other than black, could you take a really good picture of the back end for me. Those stickers were quite important to me. Cheers 😊
  5. Mosquitoes.... fuck off you little whiney, flying, stabby blood sucking cunts. My leg looks like an all you can eat buffet table. Flying fuckers.
  6. Sorry for not adding anything to the thread for a little while. Bloody Stirling work Josh. You have my deepest gratitude, as do all the other folk who have helped, and who are still offering. This place. A real boo to the mot test centre for owning up to their fuck ups, would have earned a good few kudos pints for doing so. Let's hope they won't be cunts today. Fingers crossed a bit more.
  7. I still have a home made but solid as fuck hub puller or something for one of these I think... Loved the look of mine but it had loads of shite stuff done to in in the name of journalism over the years and whilst it drove ok, I couldn't gel with it.
  8. Josh, I have no issues with any of that buddy, just immensely grateful for the time and effort that you are putting into the Xantia. Thank you. Hopefully it will provide us with the positive news re: an MOT pass.
  9. Beetle and Daimler, shitter paradise for sure.
  10. I would love to see the expression on the testers face when he is told he had tested the wrong end. Am such a kid lol.
  11. Whoah there. Been reading cos it says T4 lol. So, my obtaining a T4 van, then doing all the stuff to it will be ignored by the doovla because it isn't a high top or pop top roof. I can do everything else bar that. So, the implications of doing all that, it then being denied being re-classified as a camper van mean what exactly? Sorry to deviate..
  12. Am sure that we can organize something appropriate between the three of us. That's a fab offer without a doubt
  13. I had to endure the Worzels all the way from Devon to Enfield. It was played constantly by the local recovery driver. Don't tell oi, tell eee still makes me twitch even now.
  14. The rusty section/light cluster did muddy the water but I reckon I am in agreement re: Ambassador.
  15. Loved my 110. Spent a good bit of time and money getting it back on the road. MOT was due and it had a slight leak from the PAS reservoir and needed a slight welding repair to the rear of the chassis. The former Mrs PBK refused to let me have the money to get the work done, so off it went via ebay and it never saw the road again. Gutted and annoyed.
  16. Not a working taxi, but a few years ago my steam engine owning mate was recommissiining a 1902 Panhard Levasor taxi. The owners club were bloody useless if I remember correctly. It was a lovely old thing, bloody huge.
  17. Well spotted on the Rovah... it has the info on the tailgate and the rear bumper is also a bit of a giveaway. We have postulated as to the identity of the other one for a few hours today. We are kern for the hive mind to produce the goods.
  18. Oh excellent! Love the colour. I had a Toledo in one of the Ford blues, very similar. Really wish I had kept it now. Really do. Looks like the original colour was Valencia Blue. Fabulous stuff.
  19. Grump cos the F developed a smoll crack in the coolant bottle. Then grin, filled it up and got it to the guru in Southport without any woe, changed the bottle, new genuwine Rover coolant cap. 25 quid. Grump, celebrated by taking it for a jetwash. The ungrateful thing then refused to start. Dash lights all good but nothing when turning the key. Grin, the bloke prodded the starter motor connections and she started normally. Advice... clean 'em up and nip 'em up, so... grin again.
