  1. I had to endure the Worzels all the way from Devon to Enfield. It was played constantly by the local recovery driver. Don't tell oi, tell eee still makes me twitch even now.
  2. The rusty section/light cluster did muddy the water but I reckon I am in agreement re: Ambassador.
  3. Loved my 110. Spent a good bit of time and money getting it back on the road. MOT was due and it had a slight leak from the PAS reservoir and needed a slight welding repair to the rear of the chassis. The former Mrs PBK refused to let me have the money to get the work done, so off it went via ebay and it never saw the road again. Gutted and annoyed.
  4. Not a working taxi, but a few years ago my steam engine owning mate was recommissiining a 1902 Panhard Levasor taxi. The owners club were bloody useless if I remember correctly. It was a lovely old thing, bloody huge.
  5. Well spotted on the Rovah... it has the info on the tailgate and the rear bumper is also a bit of a giveaway. We have postulated as to the identity of the other one for a few hours today. We are kern for the hive mind to produce the goods.
  6. Oh excellent! Love the colour. I had a Toledo in one of the Ford blues, very similar. Really wish I had kept it now. Really do. Looks like the original colour was Valencia Blue. Fabulous stuff.
  7. Grump cos the F developed a smoll crack in the coolant bottle. Then grin, filled it up and got it to the guru in Southport without any woe, changed the bottle, new genuwine Rover coolant cap. 25 quid. Grump, celebrated by taking it for a jetwash. The ungrateful thing then refused to start. Dash lights all good but nothing when turning the key. Grin, the bloke prodded the starter motor connections and she started normally. Advice... clean 'em up and nip 'em up, so... grin again.
  8. Citroen special tool part number #0007654399-77PC.
  9. Am sure the rev counter will be treated with all due reverence*.
  10. John, the PO always felt that it was not a slow car at all. I remember now... the owner prior to John was described as a 'large gentleman'. Yeah, getting the lovely full fat pez and Cataclean running through its metallic veins is a good thing.
  11. So... do we prod the tester with pitchforks then burn him?
  12. I just wanted to make sure you are OK with doing the bits required Josh. Don't like imposing/taking the mickey. If you are happy doing it then so am I. Thank you.
  13. Sounds like they need to revisit this, at least for the recording of the emissions and handbrake or am I just confused. RC, if you want to pass on the work then no worries mate, you have gone over and above getting it running, briefly checked over and lobbed in for an MOT mate.
  14. OK mate, do what you can if you want to. No pressure. Parking brake deffo on the front. Emissions... fresh fuel and cataclean already applied, plugs and filter?? More cataclean lol.
  15. OK, the brakes are understandable after the car sitting for so long. Also I guess the emissions but a good run with fresh fuel and the catsclean would help a tad. Seat.... well, that's a puzzle...
  16. Oooh ooooh oooooooh. More lights! Would love to be confident and say pass with two advisories, one for wiper blades and one for..... slight corrosion on brake pipes lol.
  17. Blind corners at speed seems to be an increasing thing. Stupid cunts.
  18. Hopefully this week may see an MOT attendance.
