This is for those who missed out on Tayne's roffle but still want to come to Aberdeen for a BMW coupe!

I don't really want to do this, as I quite like this car. It's a bit thirsty though.

Anyway, the details of this car:

- 2.0 straight 6 with 4 speed auto

- 155k miles

- MOT until April 2019

- Interesting way of starting / stopping it

- Electric metal sunroof (fully functioning)

- Lovely condition black leather seats

For more details, see the thread below.

Have some pictures.

I'd also be open to a swap for something like a smoll petrol or some sort of PSA product running a 2.0HDi 8v or XUD.

Any interest in the ex-spartacus purple MK3 golf GTi that needs sparky stick attention to the sills? Put nearly 3k on it in the last month with zero problems other than the clutch which was mega high when I got it just starting to slip a bit... I'm getting 36mpg committing (5 miles of single track roads, 10 miles of A road, lots of stop/start town stuff) and 40-42mpg on a run.

Cracking wee car, I'm just not gelling with it really. May roffle it...

I cannot weld. I don't know anybody who would do it for a reasonable price either.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, it would be tempting apart from that. Isn't it purple too? That's a plus point in my book.

I know that Supernaut is keen on an XUD Citroen C5, so this bump is in aid of moving everything one step closer to allowing me to shitposting him lots of Autotrader links.

Really...

Depends how challenged it is of course!

First post now updated.

Also, I thought you'd gone off welding for life after 320T's Oxford.

dark metallic purple... Almost a shade of blurple.

Paintwork ain't the best, but it's an honest car and would probably respond well to a good polish to get minor scratches out; worth the £400 I paid any day of the week, and that's all I'd want back.

I can get photos if you're interested, and would happily meet halfway :)

Ends of sills from what I can see, I've not had it up in the air though. Small blisters at bottom middle of each door opening as well.

He'd be looking for an XUD C5 for eternity.

I did a rong, and I think I know wot rong I did.

The 2.0HDi isn't technically an XUD.

Right?

I just looked up your postcode and you're actually in the same country! Woah.

PM me details please.

The bodywork / paint on this one isn't the best either!

Nah, I'm in North Northumberland - I think my profile might still say td15 though, which is three miles south of the border.

Will pm!

Page 3? That's not cricket for this fine restored* automobile.

I can't just bump this without buying a ticket though.

SO RANDOM ME.

If I win it'll have to be a Christmas present for my sister, or her boyfriend...

You can have number 59 then.

Bump!

Get this roffled off so I can get a Fabia 1.9TDI and take it to 320T so he can make it GLF!

I had a shot of Lacquer Peel's Passat TDI (110hp) yesterday and it was alright. The Fabia is a 100hp version of that engine, so I imagine that would be pretty decent in a car that size.
