Welcome to the latest thrilling installment of of spottings from way out West! first off a MK1 Transit camper still giving good service in the Exeter area....

Just a few miles from Lands End, hope its not end of the Road for this Sunbeam Rapier....

Alongside the salubrious Bodmin Industrial Estate premises of the rather inbred used car dealer I acquired my Brothers Mondano from a few weeks ago was this motheaten old Anglia....

Delightful A60 in 'Hillbilly' Torrington

Closeby was a fetching collection of FX4 remains....

And a new feature, in a slight variation on the 'cat piss tarp challenge', is the 'collapsing outbuilding challenge' any ideas what it is?....

"Anglia" is a Prefect surely?! That Rapier is a Series 2 I think going on the side trim. Mega rare. Looks too good (ie not rusty enough) to be on a final journey surely. Lets hope not!A60 will probably be not much longer for this world I reckon And in the falling down barn, Morris perhaps? It sure looks familiar as in maybe it was featured in a mag not that long ago?

plastic sheet challenge is Hillman Minx prob. late 40'sAnd I can almost remember my dad's first new car, a 1952 FORD PREFECT just like the black one above. I think he didn't like it much as it was underpowered for our hills and was replaced by a 1953 Vauxhall Velox (which I can remember)

That Strada is stunning! How mint is it??The 528i has come a long way - it was registered in Scot Land which explains the rust.Do you frequent Torrington often? An old XJ6 of mine was sent there for a head gasket job and the c**t sold it. BOF***T, a white 3.4 Series 3 with a black vinyl roof and red leathers.

That's actually the spit of mine, bar the colour. If it was orangey red, V reg...oh & 65CL rather than 75CL as that one appears to be. But details, details, it's near enough!Think that was on the eBay thread last year, it's the right year & colour - can't be many!BS6, was it you who had another Mk1 Strada on one of your spotted threads within the last 2 or 3 months? A good ratio if it was!

Question is, is it or is it not a BRM....hard to say due to the 'barryness!' If it is though then that's actually quite a tasty little car they've ruined! Although, changing the colour & the exterior looks like a bit too much trouble to go to for these boys, so I would say they've just found an orange BRM spoiler somewhere & tacked on some silver wing mirrors - job done!

All BRMs are 3-door, and in a British Racing Green-ish shade, it's called 'Brooklands' IIRC.So no.

Seen in Bournemouth, a 105E with a an ultra rare 'Kings continental kit' period accessory, consisting of the external spare wheel carrier and wheel spats only ever seen these on mk1/2 Consuls, Zephyrs/Zodiacs.

A random update consisting of a few 'Street' spots and a couple of shows attended over the last month or so, here's a collection of old Fords including my Zodiac, all the other cars belong to like minded friends in the Plymouth area as we set off from the Tamar bridge to attend the 'Boconnoc steam fair' near Lostwithiel in Cornwall....

At said show, British lorries don't get much better than this stunning Atkinson Borderer with Gardner power!....

COR! lovely 'on the stick' Westminster sounded awesome

This Princess 3 litre didn't sound so good, being powered by a Mazda 4 cylinder oil burner donk!....
