brownnova Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I was going to put this in News 24… but I didn’t want to clog it up with loads of pictures. But Tatton Park Retro show was superb today with so many excellent and rare cars! One for @Six-cylinder And then my personal high light…, inconsistant, worldofceri, Aston Martin and 14 others 17
brownnova Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 And a few more here… The Sulky was a new one on me! My Year 6 girlfriend’s mum had a 100NX Chumly winning car… Yes.., an actual Fiat Argenta! Lanciaman, Wibble, CGSB and 14 others 17

mk2_craig Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Some wonderful old tin there. Mk1 Citroen BX for me I think, but that green Nissan Prairie is a definite strong contender. brownnova 1
JMotor Posted August 16 Posted August 16 So much good content there. Another PHWOAR for that Yugo. Argenta is really nice but I'd happily take the standard 200sx! brownnova 1
IronStar Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Fuck, that Yugo is mint! Loving the UK bodykit as well! We didn’t get those brownnova 1

Theo has helped me with my Lancia's and some of you have met him as he was part of the team who did component recover on a rotten Gamma at my place. flat4alfa and brownnova 2
EyesWeldedShut Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I'd have the TR7 please. But! What's this? Next to the Lancia ....... Dolly? Toledo? Teaser

He speaks very highly of you and Mrs6c! 😀

brownnova Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 A friend and I do a terribly amateurish YouTube channel and I did a video on the show today. Likely got loads of things wrong and I do seem to describe everything as either lovely or wonderful… But have a watch if you like… Six-cylinder, bangernomics, Lanciaman and 3 others 6

AnthonyG Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Wow, an N registration Chevette. I’ve only seen them in period road tests, and famously one features in the Likely Lads film, presumably a Vauxhall press car. mk2_craig, flat4alfa and brownnova 3

Vantman Posted August 17 Posted August 17 A wonderful selection, thanks for sharing. Too many polished cars there for my personal taste though.
Carl1981 Posted August 17 Posted August 17 15 hours ago, brownnova said: Always check the car park good job you did check the car park! That Micra is beautiful, always wanted one of those, never found one in the right condition at the right time unfortunately.
martc Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Re the video, I'd have that FIAT Samantha over the boring, overbearing and frankly ugly E Type any day. Also, phun phact the Diahatsu Campagnola was the first Japanese car sold in the UK. I have a feeling that the one in the video used to be owned by the UK importer.
GeordieInExile Posted August 17 Posted August 17 That Saab. Hnnnnnnnnngh. Lovely colour for one as well.
