Immaculate, bAsE-spec wheeltrims, painted green and cream… I think that’s the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen! Genuine happy vibes! :D

I posted this on a spotted thread a few years ago. It lives half a dozen doors away from my mum so following a visit to her today I took a couple more pics:

It's first few MoTs of the electronically recorded era make a good Sunday evening read.

Fair play for keeping it running since then.

Edit: tax disc always makes me smile

haha I really love the massive tax discs I might have to make one of those

I posted this in the crap parking thread, but as I mentioned at the time, the green van is an 08 LDV with the Birmingham City Council lettering still visible.  The couple that own it are top shiters actually - their caravan also in the picture lives 51 weeks on the verge outside but is taken off for a break once a year.  They also own an R reg 406 estate.

Hi Im Selling A Motor Home The Model Is A Sherpa 360 Diesel. - Picture 1 of 19

Hi Im Selling A Motor Home The Model Is A Sherpa 360 Diesel. | eBay UK

'It has a few mine issues'

Needs to run over one to get it to move?

Shamefully, the last 350 I came across I could have had for pretty much nothing, but I left it there and it got weighed in.

It's already converted, AND it's the sports* V8.

Plan your touring route carefully - that probably does about 8mpg 😂

Yes I did notice that...

8mpg?  That's practically frugal in my terms.  I could take that to Aldi!

TBF it does have all the aerodynamics of a Benidorm hotel, but it's probably almost as comfortable, and more weatherproof!

But in the end I can't afford the entry fee.  Shame, but that's life.

I like that. Decent honest thing.

What donk do these have?

Like the man in the built up shoe I stand to be corrected, but I think they're a Peugeot lump.

Nope that will have a Land Rover 2.5 NA diesel (with some detail changes, timing cover not set up for wading)

I can?  Goodness, you're desperate!  Want to message?

I don't think you'll want it, needs loads of welding and has a very smokey Perkins Prima.

You might well be right!  But thank you for offering anyway.

There's a local ish council estate car fixing "trader" who has multiples of them, think some people live in some of them, used to be LDV recovery trucks too sometimes. All  the cars in this shot are something to do with them.

Had 7 zafira Bs lined up one time, now seems to have moved onto mokkas.  Breaks cars up on the pavement, engines and scrap cars dotted about

And unlikely to have power steering.

You make that sound like it's a bad thing....

Anyway, here's a repost from me.

On the boarder , at that point. Possibly Houghton Regis at that part of the road.

I've met him before and he's a decent enough chap but must get tiresome for the neighbours.
