Should be OK.  That forecourt looks fairly flat.

Good luck wafting home.

Buying shite 'bargain' C6s unseen in Yorkshire and driving them back up to Newcastle is for winners. Well bought!

I hope you have more luck with yours than I did with mine. Although in a way, I also sort of don't. 😅

MOT history:-

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):

Electronic parking brake defective but can be satisfactorily operated (1.1.6 (d))

Parking brake efficiency only just met. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment or repair. (1.4.2 (a) (i))

Bon chance...

That would be an impressive average of 100mph 😲👍🏻

Impressive, but not impossible. After all, it’s a C6, made for high speed journeys across continents.

Was the V5 misplaced?

Yup, he had it on a trader policy which made things slightly more complicated as he never applied for a new logbook, the online change of ownership worked fine.

Exactly! Storage issues aside, I’d love to have a similar collection (and the skill set to keep them going). Hope you didn’t take it as a dig, it wasn’t meant as one :)

Congrats on the new ride, C6es are amazing!

I'm certainly lucky to be able to jump on something like this fairly quickly. He had tons of messages from various interested people, as usual you really need to be quick and be there in person to avoid losing out straight away, which often is a gamble. He had various people show up throughout the day buying pretty much anything he had on marketplace since yesterday evening.

It's obviously f*cked. Can't see an error popping up and I can hear the motor moving but doesn't seem to hold the car at all when in reverse. Unless that's intended behavior?

I feel somewhat ashamed for not jumping on the opportunity to pick yours up more locally. I think it was an equally good deal but I guess with this one being a few hundred quid less (without nearly as much service history) it was a little bit easier to justify.

Top work, brave man.

Did you leave a deposit on anything else? 😂

He had his sisters and friend there to help with things, all 3 girls offered a buy one, get 3 for free deal.😂 I was tempted by the other C6 though, more miles but lots more work done, better service history and cosmetically actually decent. Really a better deal if you want to spend a few more quid. As a mate said, you'll end up with issues no matter what, might as well buy the cheapest.

what was the story with him.  Collection got out of hand? Loss of storage? Making room for more motors?  Hell of a collection he got

He needs roof repairs done on the property his store is in and needs to sell some stuff to get the money together. Most of the Audis apparently were inherited from his father who died a few years ago. There's a couple of news articles about him wanting to open a museum. It looks like he's putting quite a bit of money into those cars, money he's obviously not getting back again now unfortunately.

i was looking at that this morning, thinking to myself that's probably one of the worst C6s i've seen in a good while

Having 93 other liabilities parked around probably helps. At least a couple of them should be working.

I think if mine had been in Bradford and advertised on this forum you would have had it. It's more fun when you add the danger of a collection mission. I still remember the feeling of "oh fuck oh fuck oh what have I done" when mine pinged up the EML after about two minutes of driving. And then the ABS, handbrake and traction control lights.

Very brave purchase there - this one was a walking red flag factory, but fingers crossed it pays off!
