I think I had 5 Rover 800s at one point.

2. Mk1 Sterling E745 MMT then E50 UKJ (UKJ currently garaged, MMT scrapped)

3. Mk1 Rover 820e D280 OOH (currently garaged)

4. Mk2 827 Sterling N181 AWP (currently garaged)

5. Mk2 825 Sterling R642 EGD (sold to a breaker)

I still have 3 of them.

Cars. Big, small, embarrassing or embellishing; I love them all. Its a curse.

If it has an internal combustion engine I cant resist. If not I cant be bothered as its a white good.

No problems here...

27 Volvos (since 2011)

9 Land Rovers (since 2012)

3 MGs (2016-17)

2 Rovers (2014 ish)

1 Skoda (2022)

1 Citroen (2011)

1 Austin (2007 - present)

Think I just need to stick with Volvos.

I have 16 cars, and I spent a last couple of days moving them around, spending probably more than most of them are worth.

If it’s quirky or boxy or unloved or misunderstood I probably want it. Same thing applies if I’m saving it from the scrapper, even if it’s realistically a lost cause.

Problem? Addiction? Never! I can stop any time!

Eight Volvo 480 over the years. Just one now and never more than three at a time.

Oh, I forgot to mention land rovers.

I'm convinced they breed when no one is looking.

Currently 4 here, rrc's and an s2a.

Probably had around 15, every time I checked there was another one!

I used to be able to remember  them all.

Now I'm not sure what day it is.

I've had my share of Minis, Allegros and Kit Cars though.

Was searching through some stuff today & came across this pic of my late friend Richards panda collection from the 00's.

Doesn't seem like 10 years since we lost you.

I don't ,I only own 7 1/2 cortinas & a falcon  but I could stop anytime 🤪🤪🤪

"Urchin" on the Fiat Forum, remember hearing the news. Good guy. Got a similar obsession with small Fiats although not the time, energy or space to cope with that many. Had 10 cars over the years with the little FIRE engines - Y10, mk1 Uno, 4 proper Pandas, 2 newfangled Pandas, 2 Seicentos and a mk1 Punto with the Panda I was taking to shows back then still in the garage looking sorry for itself.

On an unrelated note my other addiction extends to about 150 watches kicking about now.... not including the parcel due to arrive today😉

Yes that was urchin, I'd know him over 15 years when he passed was roughly a week before Christmas & the funeral was between Christmas & new year, think  there were half doz real pandas attended I drove the one that I'd driven as his wedding car .

Eerily the Van Aiken turbo Cinquecento prototype he was restoring at the time has just been for sale on faceache as a project.

He owned it twice first time we fetched it from Scotland behind a sierra est( it had been vandalized)  he had to sell it part done due to loss of storage then he bought bit back & we fetched it from the south coast about 18 months later this time behind my MK3 estate .

This is a common condition. I remember going somewhere in Telford I think and driving past a suburban semi that had about 9 and a half Landrovers stuffed into his tiny front garden. I absolutely love Landrovers, but I do remember thinking 'There but for the grace of Glod'....

Thus far I've managed to resist the urge to fit another Landy or five on the driveway, although I am losing the battle to avoid buying an early 90 or 110 (or even better a 100 inch hybrid).

The main issue is accumulating spares, once you've got spare body panels, engines, gearboxes and axles forming an immovable trip hazard behind your shed it is a quick descent into facial hair, cable knit sweaters, real ale festivals and involuntary celibacy.
