It's time for another collection! Getting up bright and early tomorrow to catch the train. The ticket cost me about an 8th of the purchase price of the car...

As is the norm it'll be a very special vehicle, the absolute pinnacle of the manufacturer's line up at the time in fact. Most people would probably not identify it as such nowadays...

I've just got an email that my train will not stop at my original destination, what a great start. It's incredible how fundamentally broken public transport in this country is.

It would indeed. But since I already own a S500 Coupe (called that way for like 2 model years) and a 500SEL I currently don't feel the need for another! I think most people would still recognize these as the pinnacle of Mercedes nowadays.

I've always wanted a 560 SEC more than a 140, but I'd be happy with either!

Delays for sure but the Deutsche Bahn at least isn't just outright cancelling trains, especially without explaining why. Being able to compare the two there's no comparison between the public transport of both countries, whether it's trains or local busses.
