Chodspeed good sir. Berty jeopardy adds points too. Is it a high sided single wheeled luton?

Thankfully not, it’s 61 years old and “aerodynamic”

Saab 95 or 96?

As much as I would love a 95 or 96 unfortunately it isn’t one. It’s British built and I’m driving it 220 miles home 😬

Train station achieved! Obviously I had to make a quick drink stop on the way. Now for 5 hours of trains and thankfully no going through London!

Running an hour behind due to a bit of a tree on the tracks at Reading so I took a walk into Eastleigh and got a coffee to make me feel better

Ami 8?  Won't be a GS, they're not old enough.

Neither would the Ami 8.  A few Ami 6 were assembled at Sluff, though... 😉

Now on a completely different route and had to buy a new ticket, going through London to catch an Avanti to Stoke. The CrossCountry was cancelled. New ETA is 15:26

  • calebaaront changed the title to Collection Caper in Storm Bert! Absolute mayhem on the trains!

British built and from the start of the 1960s and aerodynamic.

A Minor that's been leveled/run over by a steamroller?

Well...... If it's BLARG then you shouldn't have *much trouble finding a branch to beat on it with...

Note that I put the fact it’s aerodynamic in quotation marks 🙃😉

Ah, OK.  I was thinking very early P6, but now you've pointed out the quotation marks I'm going to go with one of these.

Wind dropped now here in London and temperatures up - really quite warm. Hopefully we are over the worst of it for your collection.
