Lonesome Lane is on a cut through I sometimes have to use between Horley and Reigate.
Google Maps: 51.206410,-0.188008
Looks like they keep every car that ever fails on them!81fb75727565cd83e1d9944ad06f52b9.jpg8833c0e352cb8c7d0f095d6c043af81c.jpg0e3c8359b0e6934290429aea9cc5885c.jpg3e154222a65d7e5b1254a70fb795bf12.jpg676d1bae0a7139727d38ded9ff426478.jpg5e1daa43f982afbf7345a7d8ac84f8db.jpgf430ec7114b747f02ad43f542a498620.jpg6fab52ab6fd3776db72c46ad70a311a6.jpg

A few I've spotted while out and about and subsequently found on Streetview...

Yank tank (annoyingly when you go up the side road on Streetview the pics are too old for it to be there) in Brownhills, Staffs.

Absolute chodfest of a garage in High Peak, Derbyshire.

Leek, Staffs - 260C I think, and what looks like a Skyline next to it.

And me in my old 206 caught by the camera way back in 2009 - what you can't see there is the dent in the bonnet where I'd clipped the back of a van a couple of weeks earlier!  Note also the Proton on the left, now long gone.

Me in a £120 Citroen AX in 2009 and then an old Passat and a couple of land rovers on the same road in someone’s garden:

Conversation in the office this morning about A-framing and reminiscences about the time I dragged an old Fiesta back to Leicester from somewhere near Mansfield.  It was pre-Google Streetview but a quick virtual trip down memory lane reveals a Bedford horsebo11ox casually parked up in the same housing estate:

Unusually the registration mark hasn't been blanked out - perhaps whatever algorithm Google uses for that doesn't work on the Serck font?

If we're going to expand it to finding ourselves, here's me with a mk1 HCT (High Capacity Trolley) in  June 2012! Times have moved on, I have a mk2 now.

I recently accidentally opened the Google Streetview of my mechanic's garage, and found this uncensored modern font number plate on a Transit...

Bored at lunchtime.  Decided to go for a virtual drive around Malta and Gozo.  Starting in a random lane and instantly finding a rich seam.

I might not get much work done this afternoon.

Is that a Bedford TL at the back?
<story> My uncle came out of Malta in the 1970s when Mintoff's wranglings made things untenable for the RAF. He brought back a Renault 8 that was mint. Two years of Scottish road salt and living by the seaside in Ayr killed that car very quickly :-( .

An pair of harlequin polo's

I spotted these in real life when looking at a car for sale about 10 yrs ago, took me a while to remember where they were, I just remembered they were by a church and I drove through Wooten wawen on my way there! Wonder if they are still there?

Holy shit, I've hit the jackpot.

Two Lancia Dedras! This is not the same car twice, this is looking in both directions from the same spot, that spot being near Ruse station on the Bulgarian/Romanian border.

Screenshot_20240305_141023.thumb.jpg.c760690d58605e815204452d331edbb8.jpg

And in between the two Dedras, two dodgy blokes messing around with an old Passat.

Screenshot_20240305_140643.thumb.jpg.8c6b7302057b394f1f7fa2add997f47a.jpg

And all three together.

Shame it was 12 years ago, I doubt they've lasted this long.
